I think the TRP's will increase now, but the major hurdle is Mahadev.

That show has been garnering quite high TRP's and has landed 3.3 rating because we saw the major event of Shiv and Parvati's marriage.

It was the high point of that show.

Now after the wedding we will have all the post marriage stuff happening on that show so viewers need some very strong reason to switch from Mahadev to IPKKND.

Well I hope this time we have at least 0.2 gain in our rating.

This element was quite strong earlier which used to pull people towards this show.And I don't really think people drool over Arshi scenes the way we all do ,it was the strong story that attracted even family audiences towards the show.So the SR fiasco which we all loved like anything won't fetch trps either.

There is a nice blend of suspense, drama ,romance in the show right now but I think nowadays the audiences are rather more interested in knowing how to make a mouth watering acchaar.

But as rima said :

"it is a sustained effort that takes months"

I feel the remarriage track will definitely rise up the trps in future!

Sometimes I just dream if all these trp meters were installed in our homes ,we IF members who are in thousands and ardent watchers of this show too, would never have let the trps ever drop.😊

Saas bahu drama is not required on our show.

Leave it for the lamp wick and child bride show.

People watch IPKKND for a reason and that reason is not Saas bahu kitchen politics.

We wanted a love story Dammit.

Consumer is the king Dammit.

Give us that reason back dammit and We will get back to 4.6 in no time.

kya analysis kiya he boss..!! maan gaye..!! But Balika Vadhu is also an hurdle..because if u consider mahadev, their targeted audience is very much fragmented..not each and every 1 follow that show. Their recent wedding is a temporary high point of the show.. Balika Vadhu is getting high trp's these days..

Even I think that we will get around 2.6 to 2.8..

Good post and certainly food for thought although I am not too sure. The reasons are:

1. There are simply too many things happening, it is confusing to us who follows the show loyally can you imagine the TRP audiences who are just tuning in?

2. There is still no certainity that everything will go according to the plan. I think this is what public wants at this stage aka the cancer show there is for sure a wedding happening and in that lamp and wick show okay that is interesting without any weddings...

I do hope what you say comes true for the show's sake and TRP's increase but darlin I am not holding my breath for it...

Mahadev has been a new entry and for the past six months it has been between 1.5 and 1.9.

We saw this sudden rise in TRP's when Shiv and Parvati 's marriage promo was aired.

It climbed from 1.9 to 2.4 in 2 weeks and then finally 3.3 last week.

BV has been steady last month, they have neither gained , nor lost. They have been stagnant if you see the charts clearly ther has been very little fluctuation in their ratings.

We cant blame BV.

For the past 3 weeks we have been 2.5 whereas Mahadev has been climbing the charts steadily from 1.9 to 2.4 and then 3.3.

The major audience which is not a die IPPKND fan has shifted from 3.0 of IPPKND and has become 2.4 of Mahadev.

So I think we have to break that 0.6 audience from Mahadev and bring it back to IPKKND to get 3.0 ratings back.
