Actually this is an Indian daily drama... So here big fat wedding will bound to happen...and most of the people will enjoy this marriage track...
I know if gone by logic, it is jst ridiculous..But you can't apply logic in these dramas...So only thing left is to sit back and enjoy whatever comes...

I don't think it is the size or number of rituals - it is more about the how it is coming across. The meaning has been stripped of these rituals and of their relationship simultaneously. It makes the whole remarriage very hollow.

I wonder why???

I know it wont too! And I really did not want a grand wedding ever - when has these two done anything in their love story which is grand? More so I am actually depressed with so many things going on - it does not seem happy at all. There is Dadi - Garima bit which keeps coming in my mind - shaadi hogi - nahi hogi - then there is shyam - and then what does not help is Khushi's strange behavior to which I can never relate to.

I would have been happy with if Arnav would first go and get court marriage done and let the families take care of this wedding hooplah - its not enjoyable and its not even entertaining. And what I dont understand is how did the PH suddenly have the money for it? 😕

Its not about logic. Its about the execution. The execution of it is so poor that it is not enjoyable. Atleast I am not enjoying it or having a blast out of it. 🥱

And a wedding would not have been ridiculous if it would have been properly thought over and then executed.

The issue is why make a mockery of it. Let's show the spirit of the rasams being followed, as was done with all their symbolic rituals of the bandagement and mehndi and haldi, instead of being used as a vehicle for Dadi to try and stop the marriage. It sucks the meaning out of everything and drags this remarriage to no end.

The spirit of the shagun is that we accept your daughter to be our daughter in law. What was the need for the woman who has been living in their house for 6 months to come out like she was meeting them for the first time. I agree Renu, it looked like she was doing some kind of role play.
Similarly each one of these rasams has a meaning, but where the meaning is moot, why push it.
The man considers her his wife, what is the point of you are no longer allowed to see her. And even bigger point, if Akash was allowed to, why this ridiculousness over people who lived together for 6 months?!? They should have gotten to the pheres because that is what makes them married in the eyes of Hindu scripture and finished it.

And why oh why oh why did they write that the woman wearing sindoor and mangalsutra saying she is not his 'wife'? Can they not add something in the script to show that she considers herself his wife, but she needs this in front of society. And she is suddenly so well versed in all the ways of shaadi, except for the order of saat phere versus suhaag raat. *head desk* When are they going to stop manipulating her character to look flaky?

I just want a little acknowledgement that Khushi realizes that ASR and she have a relationship that goes beyond these rituals. He acknowledges her need for the rituals because she needs to feel whole within it and for her family and his to accept them fully, she needs to acknowledge that in some ways the rituals are a show for an already existing deep connection...that there exists a relationship that matters to her. Why can't the CVs script that understanding. Forget Dadi and Di, can you concentrate on the female lead please!

@ Bold : Bingo 👏 👏

It's like do I enjoy this wedding or do I worry about what is to come.
Which wedding has this many hurdles?😕 Yeh kya nayi soch hai or a new trend?
Seriously do the characters even look like they are enjoying this 😆 but then it's only been few episodes but still. Where has their creativity gone?

i agree with you.
from the very beginning Nani is saying khusi is 'sankskari'. she knows all rituals. is it not funny that she does not know without phere marriage is not complete? after six months she came to know from others and now she is reacting. for the sake of the present track, CV is playing with Khusi's character. this remarriage track could come in different way.

Dittooo! That is exactly what is my worry! So many things are intermingled that I am left thinking - what will happen next more than what is happening now. Nonetheless I do enjoy watching my Arnav 😳

I dont know - I enjoy watching weddings - this wedding is making me depressed and Dadi and Mami are not helping it much 🥱 No one is enjoying it - when Dadi smiled for a bit - I jumped with a Voila! 😆 😆 Did not think I would ever say this for an Arnav Khushi wedding - but this one seems quite ridiculous to me 🥱

Sigh!

Renoir...they have turned her character into a mass of contradictions.

Khushi had ample knowledge to impart to La during the training track...she would explain the significance of festivals, marriage, etc etc.
And now, the very same Khushi needed a tutorial from Nani to realize that without pheras their marriage is incomplete! Really?!!

Howcome she gave Arnav a mini tutorial on the Roka today?

As per their own convenience, the CVs show her mature and at other times totally clueless and immature.

I wish they had shown Arnav agreeing to the rituals only for her...and not because that old hag created a furore!

I did not understand the need for that action today...her not letting him finish his usual chant of KKGSR...made no sense to me at all. She had the sindoor and the mangalsootra too 😕

I enjoy watching Arnav as well.😆
For me the Roka will be nothing compared to the bandagement scene. The mehndi nothing compared to
Khushiii kumaari gupta aaa.
Arnav: A i see.
The Sangeet how can we forget epic Teri meri.
Will there be a cocktail party? Hosted by Payash 🤣😳 Or again will daadikawaat intervene will they go shopping for shaddi ka jodha?

Someone needs to make Daadi taali sheesh man! Calm down woman.
