I myself did a legal marriage before my social one. I know for a fact that it can't be broken without proper divorce procedure.

actually now that the contract is over, isn't she technically not married to him anymore? idk, so confusing. yeah why is she wearing sindoor and mangalsutar if she doesn't want to be called singh-raizada yet... confuuused

y i agree...: instead of showing such crap they should do it as soon as possible!!! there is no point of dragging it or call it off!! because they are already married only just have to perform few rituals!!! they should concentrate on shyam 's truth nd hri honeymoon!!!!!!!

Cvs need some legal lessons...

I actually found out if a couple have done some marriage functions.. And have declared themselves hubby wife...that is cohabited as hubby wife... The wife can goto court if the hubby denies marriage because the court will always favour that marriage has been done.. Because there are many different wedding customs in India..

A lot of poor people just goto temple exchange garlands and do this sindoor manual sutra without going through the additional expenses of wedding customs and priests..,I found out from my maid... She was shocked that tarhi marriage was null and voids she said lot of her buddies just do that.who will spend rs 5000 to priest..

i have to agree with you here! the way they are behaving is funny and cheesy actually.. i defo want the Rasams to happen buit that can be done in a sensible way too instead of behaving as if they are getting married for the first time!

Mami ji was the only sensible one.. 6 mahine se room mate rahe hain an 1 minute se kya hojayega 😆

but then its a fiction.. they need twists and turns.. things cant be normal in a fiction.. in that way it will end 6 mahino me :P

There is nothing called contract marriage. They are legally wed as ASR stated earlier. They must have had a contract which says that they can part ways after 6 months and it's going to be a mutual decision and no party would have any right over each other and each others property or money that's it.
So in order to be seperate they have to actually divorce each other.
They have to actually submit the contract to the court and get divorced properly. There is no legal procedure which guarantees automatic seperation between husband and wife after a certain time frame.
