There is always a fine line between trying to hide your past from your loved ones and trying to forget it for your own sake...

Garima has complete knowledge of Khushi's past...But chose not to disclose it for Khushi's own good...What benefit would it bring to Khushi?...But the truth has assisted the past in this case...remember they are friends...It had created circumstances for Khushi to meet Arnav...Today with the help of Truth(DM)...Past is knocking the doors of Garima's heart...How much ever she tries to hide it now...the past will break open...We saw her today having a conversation with DM...Here both Khushi and Arnav will learn the complete truth about their past...

Today he didn't bother about the time...he just wanted to say sorry to her...

Khushi is surprised to see him at this hour...He replies that he has got something important to talk to her...

Khushi loves him immensely...she just cannot see him in this pain...She cups his face and immediately forgives him...and confirms all that matters between them now is Love...

Garima's heartfelt prayers to DM left us in an emotional state...I will cover the rest of the episode in my analysis tomorrow...😊

MEANDERINGS MINE

Who would have thought when the series began last June, that we would be watching Arnav Singh Raizada this way. The one who said he has no place for emotions in his life, that he has no time for the finer feelings; that Arnav Singh Raizada never feels sorry for his actions; that he never apologises to anyone.

Last night, we saw the same man visibly shaken, vastly disturbed when it was brought home to him that an innocent is suffering for the mistakes he committed; she is being burnt in the flames of righteousness of an unjust and hypocritical world for no fault of her own. His Sita is being thrust willy-nilly into an Agni-pariksha. And this time too, Sita is unfazed. She holds her head high. She has full faith in her Ram. But this time, Ram is scared. This time it isn't Ram who asked for an Agni-pariksha. This time Ram knew that he had no right to ask for it. This time he knew that Sita was unblemished. This time Ram for a change is a husband first. For he knows that unlike the Ram of Trethayug who had right, righteousness and justice on his side, he has wronged his Ardhangini.

Arnav does not care for the world, but he cares for Khushi. But for once, the world overtakes him. He is stunned by the force of it. He who thumbed his nose at society is brought to his knees in front of it. And he is not liking it. He hates the shackles, but he comes to realize that he will have to conform and accept the norms for Khushi's sake and he will do anything for Khushi.

Memory after unpalatable memory intrudes upon his mind's eye and pricks his conscience- memories of how hurtful he had been towards her in the past. Unable to sleep, Arnav homes in to his source of solace. He seeks Khushi. The very one he had sinned against. For he knows that she will be there for him despite his past actions. He knows that Khushi "kuch alag hi mitti se bani hai." He knows that she too loves him (dammit).

The lovers meet. They are happy to be in each other's company. They derive great support and comfort in each other. It has always been so and it still is. Arnav unburdens his soul to Khushi...

And Khushi understands. She understands his turmoil. She knows he is hurting. She knows he is capable of hurting himself if he thinks she is suffering. So she does what she does best. She gives him comfort, ease and understanding. She cups his face and tells him he has no need to apologise, because she knows he loves her a lot. And with an aim to make him smile, she brings out her own brand of impishness. She tags a "damn it" to the end of her sentence. And he does smile. They both do, albeit through their tears and in each other's arms. All is well with their world, at least for the time being.

Both Arnav and Khushi are teased by their respective families. Khushi takes off to her room shyly. This is a first for her. The boisterous chatterbox is slowly emerging into a woman. Arnav's love is slowly bringing out poise and dignity in the hitherto flighty Khushi. Where before she would have come out with some in the face, naughty comment to Buaji's teasing, now she lowers her eyes and smiles shyly. It was an endearing sight... and a surprising one too.

On the other hand, in RM, Anjali and NK are waiting up to catch Arnav red-handed in his night time activities. Anjali is excited at the prospect of teasing her little brother. She tell a lesser motivated NK that such chances are rare and far between. The front door opens and Arnav saunters in, a contented smile on his face. He had left the house with restlessness in his heart and a mind weighed down with guilt. He comes back infinitely soothed and unburdened. He is so pre-occupied that he does not notice his naughty relatives waiting to pounce on him. He is brought down to earth by their teasing. But, not for nothing is he Arnav Singh Raizada. It is not easy to tease him. The teasers end up getting teased in return.

After their cousin goes off to sleep, Arnav and Anjali spend some time together. Arnav takes care of his sister and asks her to take care of herself and not to over-exert herself with the wedding preparations. Anjali lovingly complies. In his way he was re-assuring his sister that she is always his priority and she in turn indicates that yes, she got the message.

In another corner of RM, Dadi is continuing with her machinations to put a spoke in the wedding preparations. There is more to it than is visible. It is just amazing that for a woman who spent 14 years in an Aashram, she is so full of vitriol. I shudder to think what she would have been like before...

The past connection is looking scary at the moment. but one thing is for sure. Garima was never an "Other Woman." She simply doesn't have it in her. She is Sugar and sweet and all things nice, but not an ounce of spice in her.

Mind you, I have nothing against her, in fact I appreciate her beyond anything that she had the generosity of heart to accept two motherless girls and bring them up so well. But on the other hand, if she was anything like she is now in her youth, and Senior Malik still had an affair with Garima, of all people, then by God, he must have been desperate.🤣 I will even find it in myself to sympathise with stopwa for thinking her actual DIL a namby-pamby milk-and-water wilting young miss.

Besides, Khushi was 8 at the time of the accident which killed her parents. And Payal must have been 9 or 10. So both Garima and her sister were married. Judging by Garima's character, she and her sister were not the type to indulge in extra-marital affairs. So this pretty much rules out the possibility of either of them being "woh aurat".

As for Garima's fear of Dadi, it could be the fear of a previously hurt and sensitive soul, on being confronted with a specter from the past. We all saw how Dadi was capable of victimising people and twisting facts into something that they are not. It is highly possible that she indulged in similar activities in the past for her own selfish agenda, hurting many lives in the process. Some people excel at getting hurt while some others are pros at handing out hurts. By now we can be reasonably sure that Dadi belongs to the latter group.

After a fast paced week it looks like CVs have decided to slow things down a bit but I'm not complaining, things needed to slow down especially when this track is one of their high points. It is not one that should be rushed for a hope in increased TRPs.

Nani and Arnav are intelligent. The truth never remains hidden and Hitler Dadi will pay her dues, just as Arnav and Khushi are paying now. Every single character will pay their dues. Destiny demands it.I have noticed a pattern in the episodes..where a few weeks they will have high tension and then it is followed up with a few weeks of romance and comedy...are they going
this route again? I sure hope they do...even during the Payash sangeet sequences...Shyam's bichoo act was nothing short of comedy..how far fetched at the time...
