Shyam's anger is focussed on Arnav because ...he didn't approve of his dad's wedding...resulting in this social status for his sister...

So the right was declined ...and Shyam thinks that its only because of ASR...

Shaym wants equal rights in the family for his sister's children...not literally funding for their education and all...😊
