Before I gallop off, I wanted to share a few thoughts I had yesterday when I watched and said to Lalita and Annie...I felt quite moved in a nice way, after a long time.

You shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, so will not complain too much about Arnav's apology, although would have liked him to have a flash back of how he turned her out in the cold and made her sleep on the floor, how he said that her parents were better off dead...but at least we got something!

I rarely speak in support of ASR in recent times, but watching yesterday, (and if we leave the issue of the contract on the side table, as both the CVs and the characters seem to have done), I find ASR genuinely believes that Mangal sutra and maang me sindoor are enough for marriage, that is THE reason he genuinely believes that he and Khushi are married and is struggling to accept that more rituals are needed to complete the process! In his heart he has accepted that Khushi is his wife...And come to think of it, even registered marriages with just a garland around the neck are legal and binding. But he is going through the whole procedure for Khushi and the families' sake. Certainly the personal apology is not enough and I hope he will have the decency and integrity to own up in front of every body, it will not diminish him, but rather elevate him in the eyes of the entire universe!

As regards ASR's advances towards Khushi, we damned him that he had ice water in his veins when he was seemingly indifferent to get cosy with Khushi all this time, and now that he is giving us proof that there is indeed blood running in his veins, we are damning him again!! Of course I dont support him forcing himself on her but what is wrong if he finds her attractive enough to devour, she is attracted to him as well, and he did stop when she told him to. Although I personally much prefer watching a heart to heart like what we will hopefully get to watch today, compared to the ridiculous SR scenes on Monday. Once again I can only be impressed by the immense talent BS and SI have in emoting without words!

My heart is full of trepidation though, as gauging from Garima's reaction upon seeing Arnav's daadi, she knows who the lady is and she was literally shaking from fear or some other extreme reaction and the way she hid herself until daadi was gone and the way she slapped Khushi when she was talking about Arnav's mum committing suicide, I feel there is some horrific horrendous issue that links Khushi and Arnav's past which is known to Garima and also to Daadi, and that is the actual reason for Daadi's objection to khushi, not because she is not rich or because she mistook Khushi for a servant, but she actually recognised Khushi!!! May be Arnav,s mum is not actually dead but that is the story he and Anjali have been told?

So I have a feeling of immense dread that either this wedding will not happen, or even if it happens, their past will prevent them coming together any time soon.

Lastlly, I noticed how 'hard' a certain someone was trying to prove herself an exceptional actress by being overjoyed that Buaji had agreed! She looked Exceptionally Constipated!

Phew, a long post. But I needed to say it as I will be taking a break from the forum for the next several weeks, inundated with work for the next week and then I leave for my annual pilgrimage to India, on 24th where I will be travelling and will not have frequent access to internet but will still try and log in now and again and read and like all the wonderful discussions! I shall be back in dear old Blighty late on 16th September.

So to all my hommies, cheerio! Love you all and shall miss you!🤗Keep having fun.

In typical phan speak, Barun and Sanaya rock! And if they show ASR getting angry with Khushi again, let me warn them, I am in Mumbai on 14th and 15th September!

Strong women do not necessarily approach stridently. Some slip in silently, yet conquer utterly! And here is one such woman we all know as Manju.

Yay !!
Loopy is here and people are still posting. Usually they see me and all go hidey and I go seeky !!!
Hello Manju, Hiru, Onu and Lali.
How are you all. I just was thinking. Did Shyam come into RM to wink wink Anjali or nudge nudge Dadi. Dadi is shameless I say. Even at this age.
PS : Onu. I am 100% sure, if we all grow in arrogance and rude behavior, it is only because of the air we suck in, reading all your praises. I wish I can write half as well as you praise people.
PPS : Now stop being modest and agree that you are just as clever and just as humble as the rest of us.😉

Thanks for pointing that out Manju, cos that is what impressed me the most about ASR yesterday. He genuinely believes in the true marriage of hearts and he is not wrong for when one pares it all down, marriage is the true meeting of minds and hearts.

Rituals are only a public marking of the meeting of hearts, but they can never make a true marriage. I have seen too many of the hypocricies that lie behind rituals and ceremanies to believe in their sanctity.
ASR's really endeared himself to me yesterday because of his views. I could absolutely understand and sympathise with is puzzlement over all the fuss over the rituals and ceremonies. Alas one dare not question the need for rituals in India without being lynched!

Wish he would take her off to a court and marry her legally, top that with a ceremony that he and khushi decide between themselves and then take her home- that would teach them all.

Loopy, woman how dare you think otherwise? Do you want me to do an angry ASR on you? Or an injured ASR? I am after all "Bond Girl". Of course I am clever, witty and pretty, see how that rhymes. All Bond girls are.

Ish! Reminds of of Ash in Devdas. What a fake she was in the movie. She didn't look / act like a bong at all. Sprinkling your sentences with few Bengali words to make it sound Bengali makes my blood boil. It was done in Parineeta too. And in some of Ekta's serials.

I shall do a Krishh act if you say Ish! 😈

My Issh was the Issh sung by Shreya Ghoshal not your mannequin Aish. Samjhi Aap. Samjh na haitho samjho.
And before you say anything against my Shreya, dont think twice about it.

I myself am i bit confused as to where this white mare is galloping towards!
Everything seems to be festinated!
Its almost like the want this to end..
Get this done and dusted with!

Yes, he did apologize, but came due to the immense pressure from the fans.
And yes, the fairly low trp should be given its due credit!

But even if this does come to an end, i do hope it is a feast of a finale!
This banquet, which was so deliciously amazing at first, has indeed lost most of its flavours now.
Hopefully, the last course- dessert, will be as tasty as a chocolate pudding, all nice and gooey in the inside, and hopefully not soggy and dried in the inside!

So time to ponder and pointificate.
Did Garima have an affair with Papa Raizada (or rather Malik)?😕 would this concept go well with the indian audience?
This had been naging me since the day they brought in the suicide story and then played a song from Khabi Alvida; a movie based on infidelity between two married people.
😕

Let me show off my ignornace in splendid LED TV colors now.
ASR mom is Nani's daughter. Right? Or at least that is what I have been thinking.
So if Garima had an affair with Nani's daughters husband, ASR's dad, what are the chances that Nani has never heard of Garima at all - once upon a time. Interesting.
Even so, let us give lot of creative leeway and say Garima did have an affair with ASR's dad, she is not the biological mom of Kushi.
But if Kushi is going to be shown as clutureless due to the fact she was bought up by Garima and because of that ASR doesn't marry her, then, I can guarantee, that is what is going to not go well with Indian Audience. Because, no one can tolerate this much negativity story wise and evil playing havoc and winning, in the past, present and into the future. My 2 cents.
