Considering the manner in which they built up Khushi's character, she would switch her allegiance to her husband post-marriage. So any fights she had were basically fights with herself.
Earlier, she stood her ground because it was her ground, her stance. Now, having ceded that, she did not know where to stand and that totally took away the juice from the story.
I don't like such stories where one has to handicap the main female player and then show her 'winning' against the male lead after he, of course, 'gives' in to her of his own accord.
