A bang on episode'..Tremors starts setting in with Garima hiding and then slapping and shouting at Khushi.Superb scene. Garima(I don't know that actress name) was really good in that scene. Why ? Why? We will wait. Will she want to settle Khushi with her husband or starts to think about the past ..lets see..😉

So Daadi as expected trying to break ASR ' Khushi wedding and relation. Please we request CV's again not to use all these kind of words or something always wrong 'not everyday against the lead lady. You know what time slot the serial is relayed. First ASR,then Shyam and now the new one. Daadi as an elder lady and please show her as elder lady without such words. We understand the harshness \ hatred ness towards Khushi but words and phrases can be little mellowed down. Even though her hatred ness today will be bitten by her tomorrow when all the truth comes out'.be kind with certain remarks.

What Nani and Anjali has understood ASR these 14 years this Daadi is refusing to see. She actually is not accepting ASR as the man of the house. That's her first problem. Decision making authority is always with ASR which Nani , Anjali and Mami knows is not clearly seen by her. She should understand that the family has been re-build and given a concrete shape by ASR and he is the king here. She should realize this first and then only she can look beyond and accept Khushi.

Buaji: I loved her and will always love her. As innocent as Khushi; stands up for her relations and loved ones; very kind and hyper reactive as Khushi. I loved how she never gave up Khushi to Daadi and at the same time gave respect to Daadi. Loved how she held back Garima also. ASR has to bear this lady's wrath for sometime when the hasty wedding reason comes out.

ASR ' Khushi: Today he felt what he has done to her. Morning when all the ladies rounded up Khushi and questioned about the relationship status. He started getting gaze with the mistake he had done when his Di strongly pointed out. "Galat hai Chotte" where he was finally persuaded to do things he doesn't believe.The second realization seeing the slap mark on Khushi's face. He pointed out today " Tumhare liye" . What more Khushi needs? She has understood all the conscience of ASR these 6 months and to an extent she has respected them also. This pair will face a huge ruckus when the contract\wedding reason above all when Mr.Shyam Manohar Jha enters. And there he is.

"Agar tumhare life mein kabhi pyar aajeye Hold on to it ASR. Kyunki pyaar nafrat se bahut bada hota hein.Sabse bada hota hein.Make sure tumne usse life se kabhi janne na do" I remembered these dialogues at the end of the episode. Don't know why.

You never know when will be the last time you will be spending with your friend\relative or anyone for that matter. But you should always carry good memories of our fellow people and loved ones as long as they are with you. A glass broken can never be brought together.That's what ASR is going to learn in future. Now he can't bear a small dust that bothers Khushi but before what he has done...I liked all the memories ASR recollected and god's sake they showed the scene where he throws her out of the room. That image will haunt him till he is completely forgiven for all he has done. Tomorrow he will realize how much gold Khushi is and not a "gold digger" as he used to call her.

Today's story

An upset buaji continues to rant and scold Khushi for what she did and tells her she should be thankful that Arnav has agreed to marry her again. Did she even think about her family while doing all this? Khushi answers a knock on the door to see Dadiji. It's now Dadiji's turn to push Khushi's character to the darkest corner possible and also accuse her of trying to steal Arnav's money by having the property written in her name. Buaji is upset that her niece is being dishonored and supports Khushi. She tells dadi that her niece is not capable of such despicable acts and why is she only one to be blamed, isn't Arnav also responsible? This leads to further argument and Buaji feels that the relationship should be broken off. Dadi, whose goal is achieved, walks away, victory in her hand.

While the argument is ensuing, Garima happens to see Dadi ji. She's really scared, hides behind the door and listens to the whole conversation. After dadi leaves, Buaji curses both dadi and Arnav. Khushi supports Arnav and tries to convince bua that he's not what he seems, he may be gruff, but is very good at heart. He's that way because his mother committed suicide when he was 14. Enter Garima who slaps Khushi and asks her to say no more and sends her off to her room. Buaji notices how shaken and upset Garima is and wonders what happened to make her that way.

At RM, gifts are being packed for the Shagun. Enter dadi who says it's not necessary to pack because the engagement was broken off by Buaji and she doesn't approve of this wedding. Enter Arnav who overhears and tells them to continue with the preparations; he'll talk to buaji and clear things up. He goes to GH, notices Khushi's red cheek and is upset. Khushi tells him not to get upset and as a mother, Garima has every right to slap her. Arnav finds out that dadi was responsible for this misunderstanding. He reassures them that he'll come with the shagun and wants things done at the earliest.

Arnav comes home to a worried family who don't know why the shagun was stopped. He clears up things saying all is well now. He tells dadi that he knows what she's trying to do and the ceremony will take place whether she comes or not.👏

At night time, Arnav is reflecting back on his recent past with Khushi and realizes that he caused so much trouble for her and is solely responsible for all her problems from the time he forced her into marriage; he also recollects how his wife risked her life for him when he was kidnapped. He then walks downstairs and notices a shadow. It's none other than Shyam hiding behind a pillar (there was no tree to hide behind, that's why the pillar😆); of course Arnav doesn't find him''or else, how will the story move forward?

Some thoughts about the current track(s)

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that this show has too many things going on simultaneously and is getting to be overwhelming. Yes, agreed the story is very gripping, but will viewers be able to follow the storyline? Right now we have:

1) Arnav's repentance/redememption - whatever you wish to call it

2) 6 month contract stigma on Khushi ' Still continues

3) Arnav Khushi Wedding (yet to come) ' So many people are already predicting that the wedding won't take place because of past history of IPK. Every time Arnav and Khushi come closer, something goes wrong, or a new villain enters to separate them. A friend of mine is begging the PH to remove the 'Nafrat paas aane na de' tagline completely and keep 'Pyar door jaane na de'; she feels that this way, at least there's hope that their love will always keep them together. Otherwise, people are taking turns to separate the couple. How many more villains do we need in addition to Shyam, Dadi, Mami (yup, she's never happy with Khushi and is always waiting for a chance to see her out), Anjali (until the sudden change we saw in her recently), the list is getting longer by the minute. Is there no end to this?

4) Past rearing up

5) Shyam entering into RM like it's his own house; am sure we'll see him full time pretty soon, so what does this mean for Arnav and Khushi?

This is not a 2 hour movie where everything needs to be wrapped up quickly. It's a TV show that people watch 5 days a week. Isn't there a better way to handle all these threads rather than throw them all together?

Random thoughts on characters

Mami - When Shyam was thrown out, I understood her concern for Anjali was the reason she blamed Khushi. Now that things have settled down, what's her problem? Why is she bent on misunderstanding Khushi? No, I don't want her to be lovey dovey with Khushi, but why make it look like she wants her out of RM. Has she been brainwashed or does she not remember how much Khushi did to bring back Arnav? Where did her thinking brains go? Can't wait until she finds out what Anjali is doing behind her back and how she was backstabbed by a daughter whom she cares for so much.

Payal - I wish she'd develop a back bone and ask her mother in law to be quiet. May be that's too much to ask???😉

Dadi - I stick to my original idea that she's like Duryodhan (at least for now). I won't be surprised if her mind has been filled with poison either by Shyam or someone close to him (this person is Shakuni). Her one and only one agenda is to right the wrong that she did long time ago (i'll explain once I have the details of Arnav's dad's past). All she wants to do now is to throw Khushi out of RM. If this happens at the cost of her grandson's happiness, so be it; if she has to besmirch Khushi's character and treat her like dirt, so be it; if she has to spread poison all around, so be it; if she has to give pain to many, so be it. Nothing will stop her at this moment. I wonder if Anjali inherited this blindness (ego related) from dadi.

Anjali - She is certainly blind and totally unaware that she's jeopardizing her brother's and Khushi's lives. She let Shyam into RM and will reap the consequences of her thoughtless actions. On one hand she behaves as though her happiness lies with her brother and on the other hand she wants to be with her husband. She's doing things against her brother's wishes. Does she truly care about him? Not only that, she's begun to lie even to mami, who's her sole mother figure and truly cares about her. BTW, is she over her depression completely and making these decisions in a sane manner? I just want to know when to pounce on her mistakes.

Khushi -Why is everyone bent upon slapping Khushi, tainting her character, blaming her and giving her pain? If she supports Arnav, it's her fault; if she gets married secretly, it's her fault; if she doesn't do phere, it's her fault; if Arnav bequeaths property to her, it's her fault; if she so much as breathes, it's her fault. When will this stop? Is Arnav the only one who'll stand by her? Today, Buaji asks her if she was ever concerned about the family whie getting married secretly''well, if it wasn't for her sister, would she have agreed to the marriage in the first place? We all know her reason for being quiet, but why aren't the Gupta's asking her questions? The poor girl is being hit from all sides. Is it too much to ask for some understanding? But, when it came time to do so, Buaji gave Khushi all the support; I'm so glad that this strong woman took a stand against dadi and showed her, her place. Wish she'd thrown some more insults at dadi.

I know that Khushi spoke of morals, traditions etc. and she didn't follow them herself. I have a question here. Under what circumstances did she get married? She was being forced by Arnav to make a quick decision and was literally dragged to the temple. In such a state will anybody remember traditions? Should she have had a brainwave and said "Oops, we didn't do the pheres and there's no pandit?" Post marriage, we've already seen the constant turmoil in their lives. Considering all these, how can we expect her to remember that pheres were forgotten? One mistake that could have been avoided was, Khushi herself didn't know that without pheres, marriage is not complete. This caused confusion for viewers.

Arnav - While talking to my dad, I found out that Arnavam means a large, deep ocean. I'm going to assume that Arnav was derived from arnavam. Yes, he certainly reminds me of the huge ocean that keeps so many things on the inside and bears so many burdens, yet remains calm, until something happens. Then, it's time to react and the waves will be so high and ferocious that they can hit with a deadly force. Shyam hasn't seen this side of Arnav yet. But, the time will come soon.

Arnav is finally beginning to realize that his momentary decision was responsible for spoiling the life of an innocent girl. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode when he apologizes to Khushi. I loved this picture of Arnav and his reflection. He has a family yet he's always alone. No wonder he needs Khushi and only Khushi to bring the sunshine that wipes out all the emptiness and darkness in his heart.The pain that this couple is going through is heart breaking.

Mosaic of Moments...

The episode was a medley of emotional snapshots for me of a grandmother, a mother, a daughter, a wife, a grandson ,a husband and the prince of darkness who weaves his web of entrapment around their ignorance..

A grandmother who is adamant in her endevour that she knows what is best for her grandson and family...Her misguided love is forcing a fight against her grandson's wishes because sometimes a bitter pill needs to be taken for a cure... For Dadi Arnav's romantic liason with Khushi is the dreaded malady that needs her expertise for it's eradication... The single minded devotion to her cause...the blinding ego which does not allow her to see there are two sides of a coin...a fierce sense of loyalty for the family that made her reach out to her grandchildren after a gap of 14 years when she perceived they are under serious threat...a sharp mind that finds out ways to tackle the hindrances the opposition imposes...The qualities that made her grandson stand out in a crowd as cynosure is today making her stand out as an eyesore...Arnav is being redeemed of his unjust ways of the past by fighting for a righteous Khushi and Dadi is paving the road for her redemption by maligning a righteous Khushi...

A helpless mother heard and watched in despair as her daughter's character was ripped to shreds in her own house... a safe haven that promised to be a shelter from the storm was today a mute spectator of her insult...Her Amma had seen a shadow of the past in Arnav's Dadi... A shadow that could bring to life the cruel memory from yesteryear that she wanted to run away from...So Garima chose to leave the side of her daughter at present in the hope that Khushi's future with her husband can be secured...Will a mother's best intention for a daughter's happiness bear fruit ? Only time has the answer...

A daughter who became a wife to protect her family... who bore the hardship of living the lie of a happily married couple was today accused of being an opportunist amoral gold digger... The manipulated was accused as the master manipulator... The daughter could have defended herself but the wife would have been demeaned ...The wife who swore to protect her husband's honour as he did for her... Khushi's fate always leaves her in a dilemma where to save relationships she has to walk on the path of thorns to bleed profusely... This time for a change she has someone to share the pain.. her husband. All this while Arnav needed her for comfort today she needs it from him... I liked the scene when ASR turns back to look at Khushi one last time as he left GH... the pain,sadness, need of an assurance that he will not let her down... the moist eyes said it all...

I loved you to much to let you go...

If it hurt you I could not see...

I held on to you the best way I knew...

If it battered you inside I feigned not to feel...

I was lost in my little world of gloom...

Too blinded to notice...

that I spelt in your sunny world the dreaded doom...

The eyes that Arnav Sing Raizada had learnt to read...forced him into introspection when everyone lay asleep...He always prided himself as being the protector, caregiver for the people he loved most...but the protector had become the knight of destruction for the girl who had made him experience ...woh ladki jiske bina meri sasein ruk jayengi... The truth struck like a bolt of lightning and he started to move towards light from the darkness he was in...A beautiful shot where Arnav climbs down the flight of stairs in darkness to reach the soft hue of light at the end... He feels a presence but is unable to pinpoint... the master deceiver Shyam is still in the shadows intricately weaving his plot... dadi had information that GH has been transferred to Khushi's name...hamare ijazat ke bina shantivan mein ek patta bhi nahi hill sakta...ring a bell?

When I signed up for IPK...I just knew that whatever this love-saga might be..It's just not cliched...Now every serial steps into the broad Prime-time arena with a promise of being "different"..But sadly..Not many..in fact most of them don't leave upto their promises'and are hence lost in the anonymity of regressive saas-bahu crap...Romance takes a back-seat and we are served the same old concoction of family drama and kitchen politics...

But luckily...IPK is still not lost...In fact...it's pretty impressive how they have maintained their tagline of "Nafrat paas aane na de'Mohabbat door jaane na de"to the T!!TRP's...Well I really don't get the real deal...But TRP-seems to be a very trivial term for an eternal love odyssey that IPK is...Fiction it might be..But it's fiction at it's best!!👏

Now..two orphans...bound by destiny..bound by fate..but above all..bound by songs of love...that remain unheard by people surrounding them.I have always maintained..Arnav was mesmerized by Khushi at the moment the two met on that fateful night at Sheesh Mahal.As luck would have it...the meeting wasn't how two lovers are expected to meet in general...but then again...these two are the eternal star-crossed lovers!!More than a year has passed since that fateful night..and both of them have indeed come a long way...

The splenetic young man ASR is a ghost of the past now...No he's not lost forever...But somehow the conscience that lay buried somewhere deep down..has made it's presence felt...He always found it difficult to express his feelings'he has never justified his actions to a soul'he has never in his life bowed down to the hollow,man-made traditions and customs...But I guess'everything has its "first"!!Khushi is like that lost song in his life...that disappeared in his childhood'as both his parents committed suicide'and his Daadi abandoned him...he was left with nothing but despair that soon became a facade of anger that he took refuge behind!!Now Khushi came...on one hand feelings and desires were surging'while on the other hand..his ghost of the past..just won't let him bask in that new found love...So he hurt her...and hurt her some more...But the more he hurt her...the more he was surprised and amazed...at her resilience..at her strength to smile...at her power to rise up from the heaps of insults he hurled at her...He saw a fighter in her..a girl that would never give up!!And boy!!Did he ever realize...how this girl would change him...Well I guess "change"won't be the motjuste here...It actually are the feelings that were lying deep down..Not a morsel of which he'd let the world outside to see....The feelings that were kept safe in the glass-house of his heart'were unleashed by this girl Khushi...The glass walls finally broke..and we are here today...After a year of love-hate saga...we have reached a point...where the man of few words..is apologizing to his wife..his Khushi..the reason for his being..that he regrets every single act that might have hurt her..broke her heart..He is sorry that he wronged her...

Now for Khushi..Arnav is a blessing...Orphaned at eight...The biggest flaw of this character is a terribly low self-esteem..Maybe being brought up people who are not her parents showed its effect in this way..Morally upright..but she just doesn't know how to stand up for herself...When ASR questioned her morality or tried to hurt her..left,right and centre...She could stand up to him...pay him back in his own coin...She faced him with all the courage she had!!But when it came or still comes to the society...her family...she can't open her mouth!!Somehow..in spite of being brought up in a caring household...she had always been a loner..A fighter who always fought for her home..her family...But never really got that back!!But Arnav...in spite of hurting her more than anyone..has loved her too more than anyone..The care,that assurance,the belief that no matter what...I'm always with You...she received only from Arnav...He is the person she has somehow opened up to in her times of distress...Because subconsciously she is well aware of the fact that Arnav is there for her..Shaiitan or Raajkumar..he is always there to hold that hand..to reassure her..to scream at her "Don't you ever do this to me" when she goes missing...to cry with her and to laugh with her..He is the only man she can hold onto..anytime and anywhere..in sickness and in health!!And now that her faith in him has been reaffirmed'she too stands upto her Buaji when she speaks ill of him...Because she now knows..Arnav is the person she loves beyond anything...and that their feelings matter more than anything now!!

Now the path of their love is bridle and with past rearing its head from the debris under which it lay hidden all these years...their journey is sure to be bedeviled by a lot of adversities...Daadi thinking of Arnav as a young man besotted with an amoral girl like Khushi...Or Garima slapping Khushi with an unknown rage and helplessness-past is sure making its way!!And with past in the picture..the circumstances for the lovers might seem insurmountable..and happiness seems to be an illusion...but this time'the bond that these two share..the bond of love and longing...will not lose its bearings in the anonymity of misunderstandings!!I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!😃

Here's to the lovebirds'.who will fight every menace that comes their way now..No matter what'Whether it's Daadi's imperious attitude or Shyam's serpentine entry'because the bond they share now is eternal..no less than Radha-Krsna'!!😳

But all said and done...I simply can't get the fact..Why does everything seem so rushed??I understand the need to raise the TRP's...But "Creative Team"..make sure you don't make a balls-up of the story while trying to rush things!!Believe me..if we could bear a 2 month long kidnapping track'.we won't mind a separation track with lots of sweet yearnings for each other and loads of sweeter romance,period!!

Barun Sobti:You know I love you Dammit!!😉The pain in your eyes so limpid as Arnav has those haunting flashbacks..Kudos to you..Just like ASR..You too have come a long way as far as acting is concerned!!👏

Sanaya Irani:I simply loved you in the Hug scene..The pain,the fear and the pangs of separation..so evident in your eyes!!👏

Swati Chitnis:I can just say..these days..your performance is making me love to hate you..I mean your character!!👏

Abhaas Mehta:That one minute appearance with that darkness around was sure a spine-chilling one!!Welcome back!!👏

Loved your take.Tumi satyi bhalo analyse koro.Looking forward to how the drama unfolds,though I feel have been enough without this nautanki of 'Haath mangne ayenge aapki beti ka' ,followed by roka,kthat there was no requirement of a detailed marraige rasams,because for god's sake,Arnav had put the sindoor and had tied the mangal sutra and they had been living together for 6 months.Only the pheras would have been enough without this roka,kuldevi puja,sangeet,haldi,phera,muudikhai drama.Anyways,TRP mata ke liye sabkuch chalta hain.

whats Love?

It is one of the most difficult questions for the mankind..Love is patient, love is kind. It has no envy, nor it boasts itself and it is never proud. It rejoices over the evil and is the truth seeker. Love protects; preserves and hopes for the positive aspect of life. Always stand steadfast in love, not fall into it. How should be a relation between wife and a husband?

When we see these aspects and bring this to our Arnav-Kushi Love Story, its indeed a great journey in Love!

Arnav, who has seen hardships in life pretty in his early teens, lost trust and hope on the institution called marriage and specifically Love. He considers Being in Love to be waste of time and preferred not to commit that mistake evr in his life. He never cared two toots for the society and did what best in the current situation.

He my coincidence met a innocent gal right in his arms one fateful or rather fortunate day.Day1 he was mesmerized by her looks. Destiny brought them to cross eachother multiple times. He to suppress his Unknown feelings for this gal satrted being cold in all means. Somehow, he cudnt bear tears in her eyes and that made his world at a halt! He unknowingly started being loving thi gal not knwoing thats Love. He became his protector, her guide. He did his level best to understand what his feelings were toward her,realised thats its Love for her and wanted to propose when he sees her in the arms of another man whos his Jeeju.

He went back to his old self, lost trust once yet again and became as cold as he could ever be.

Then he marrired her as defence to protect his DIs life. In the process of their married life he have seen her close,observed her tarits,understood her feelings emotions and finally Fell with her.

From then on, hes a changed man all together! He makes no stone unturned to bring her back to his life permanantly,he gives her the most deserved respect,he declared no one can ill treat her, shes his,he giveup all that he is made of,doent tolerate any slightest pain given to her from anybody..literally anyone ..be it her own Mom..hes ready to fight with all the world to make her his and he will not rest till thats done!

Now if we can by the definition of so called Love which is complex to understand, Arnav has travelled a long route..

Arnav now is patient with her, kind with her, he protects,preserve her from any kind of things thats bearable from us.,,If this is not Love..then what else Arnie boy.

Like true husband wife, they started understanding eachother

If kushi can understand that Anger is the mask Arnav wears and hes breautiful at heart, Arnav understands that in Simple things lie Kushis Happiness than a expensive affair!

Tough he does not understand the true essence of Rituals in marriage, hes ready to take that extra step jus because Kushi wants it!

Without their knowledge, HUM has creeped. They cant stay away from eachother even for a minute and the longiness is visible at both the ends so vividly. If this is not a relation thats like fish and water complementing eachother and making a whole, what else is understanding!

Guys, ur love and understanidng is making us connect with the True unconditional/selfess love and Understanding the Partner!

Thanks to Sathya and Doods' guidance in Redux we all know the way ...

Well guys I loved the show because I all got what I always wanted ever since the first episode of IPK... Arnav apologizing for all his cruel actions and reactions towards HIS Khushi ...

That precap was like a few drops of life giving nectar to the parched souls of Arhi lovers ...in the throws of death thirsting for redemption of ASR ...

...but today he realized it is all because of his own actions everyone is bullsh*ting her ... she is being targeted... charitra per keechar uchhal rahen hai ...her own loved ones are being nasty to her...

Arnav could not bear all this ...

He has his moment of reflection ...as symbolized by the reflection on the glass door and realizes his mistake... he does not waste a single moment doesn't even wait for the daylight to break ... he had to say sorry to her right then ...right in the middle of the night ... WHAT AN AWESOME LOVE STORY YAAR ... how the hell can anyone not love this ???? ...

Thanks for all the insights you have been providing us with the serial and have been 100% correct. Like I have mentioned earlier I am still watching this show only because of you as have laid down the track and story so well. I just had few questions and maybe I will see the answers to them in your today's analysis...

Is Arnav's Dadi here because of Shyam? Was he instrumental in sending her to the terrace as they showed that he was monitoring the RM via CCTV camera's. Again in today's episode when she mentioned that Khushi has the property transferred in her name and that she was a gold digger all seems to be information fed to her by Shyam. Otherwise I don't see a reason as to why she dislikes Khushi so much.

Also if Khushi's parents were killed in an accident most probably caused by Arnav's dad, then why would Arnav hate Khushi for this. Should'nt it be other way around. in one of the episodes Arnav mentioned that is father made his mother commit suicide and then he himself also followed the same... so could it be chacha doing all this. Do you think Garima knows something about Dadi? Would she stop the wedding or will the wedding be completed.? Although I don't think she will as she is too scared of the society rasing fingers at her daughter.

I just hope that Arnav stands for Khushi and saving her from any calamity that befalls on her.

Looking forward to your analysis today . would love to read your take on the further tracks and story line.

IPK is on a role!!! I am loving the episodes!!! Today's post consists of yesterday's episode combined with today's. So bear with me and off we go!!! But will adopt a different writing style today.

Walking along the path that she chose, without being affected by others... in this sense, white is her color... in another sense, it also makes me want to put more colors on her ~ Usui Takumi from Kaichou Wa Maid Sama (The Student Council President Is A Maid) Anime Episode 3.

Although you look cute when you are trying your best, now when things gone bad, I can't just stand and watch...from now on, just leave everything to me...~ Usui Takumi from Kaichou Wa Maid Sama (The Student Council President Is A Maid) Manga Chapter 9.

The feeling of "love" keeps flowing out of everywhere. Even if everyone goes against it, even if you know that you can't do that. But, once you've noticed this feeling you won't be able to stop it anymore. Sakura Hanazono from Kaichou Wa Maid Sama (The Student Council President Is A Maid) Manga Chapter 32.

Arnav and Khushi complete each other. Without one another, they are lost. They bring out the best and the worst in each other. Both know the value of each other in their lives.

The thing that Arnav wants in the world is to have someone that will love him and put him before anyone else. He wants someone who will lead him out of the darkness and embrace him. He wants someone to laugh with and someone to hug for absolutely no reason at all, save for being with them. He wants to reveal himself to that person and shower her with his love. Khushi is everything more than he could ever think of.

Do you think he will let her go? Come hell or high water, he will fight. He has abused her, hurt her, broke her beyond repair and committed crimes against her. And yet, she returned to him every single time to protect him from the world at large and from himself. Today, he has acknowledged that. No one can take her away from him.

Khushi has finally acknowledged him and has begun to move forwards with, beside and for him. She is learning and growing. I feel that there will be a time when she will be respected for who she is and will be able to stand up for herself and what she believes in. I truly wait for that day.

The proverbial slap from Dadi and the literal slap from Garima was essential for Arnav to understand the extent of his rash actions. This was needed and he is moving to rectify them. He cannot bear Khushi's pain for whatever reason. He has realised to a certain extent that he vents his anger out on Khushi and she simply soaks it inside her and gives him only peace, solace and happiness. He is slowly realising that Khushi is fast reaching the chasm once more and he needs to catch her before it's too late.

Khushi is more assertive in the sense that she can see what other's cannot. When Anjali's family can't see that she isn't okay with Khushi, Khushi herself catches it. Khushi has a larger emotional input in her life than most of the other's combined. She's attuned into everyone's feelings and she feeds off of those emotions. Anjali is different because she feeds off of being dependant on other's around her, she's unstable. Khushi if anything, has her feet firmly planted on the ground.

By defying and going against Arnav, Dadi is making Arnav even more possessive of Khushi. Arnav... is like a bull. He is blowing smoke out of his nostrils as it is and Dadi is deliberately waving the red in front of him. With Shyam returning, Arnav will cling to Khushi like glue. If and when Shyam returns, Arnav will ask NK about what Khushi did to reach Arnav. That accompanied by the flashbacks of Khushi nearly becoming roadkill and her falling off a cliff... well let's just say woe to the human who gets in ASR's way.

Arnav is fast becoming even more obsessed with Khushi. He nearly pulverised Buaji and Garima for slapping Khushi. He looks for an excuse to be with her always. If Khushi disappear from his life, he will become even more dangerous than he was before Khushi came into his life. If Khushi goes away because of Dadi, Shyam and Anjali, he will destroy them. He will keep Anjali with him out of sense of duty but for a short while he will lose all affection for her. Seeing the complete withdrawal of Arnav from Anjali's life, Anjali will then work to get Khushi back. I have said this before: Arnav is Anjali's life. Not Shyam. Shyam is merely an illusion.

Buaji has proven herself again. She has always been extremely protective of Khushi. On fact, she is the only one apart from Arnav and NK, who has tried to defend Khushi from both Shyam and Dadi and has had a certain level of success. Yes, Khushi is her Sanka Devi. But Khushi is also her Titalia. She will bring out her belan and willingly bash people into oblivion. She is the other White Bishop. She is like Khushi, or precisely Khushi is like her. She never hides her emotions and spells it out for everyone. She stood up to Dadi, Shyam and even Arnav. That takes courage and it is from her that Khushi got her "never-say-die" outlook on life. She knows Khushi, her goodness and innocence. She will never let anyone harm Khushi, not while she's alive and armed with her belan.

Garima's anger, I felt, was because in her emotional breakdown, she mistakenly thought Khushi knew about her parents' death and in her folly she defended her parents' killers. Garima, too is stuck in the past, with her sister's death. You can tell Garima's sister meant a lot to her and she couldn't bear to have Khushi defend those responsible for her death. Garima was shaking and shivering when she saw Dadi and there a suppressed anger in her towards Dadi.

Garima is someone to watch out for.

Anjali is always the most curious person to analyse. I think that her excitement about Arnav's wedding is that she gets to fulfil her wishes about his marriage. It is a selfish thought and the snake is going to bite her very soon, literally.

Nani is the most grounded character in IPK apart from Shashi. She is. She is very much like Khushi in the aspect that she has her feet planted firmly in the ground. She is not against fun and games, in fact more often than not, she is leading the fun and games. But when the time comes, she will willingly take down her opponents. Khushi is the apple of her eye. She depends on Khushi and relies on her. She trusts her and when she realises the extent of Khushi's sacrifices, she will tear apart Arnav, Shyam and Dadi with Buaji and Payal's help.

Payal will support her sister when she finds out what Khushi did for her. She will give it to Arnav and I really want to see Payal lambasting Arnav in front of the entire family, particularly in front of Dadi, Mami and Akash. I want one of them to say "is this the way to talk to your husband's older brother" and I want her to say, "I am speaking to him as the elder sister of his 'wife'". I want Akash and Mami to see that while she takes their crap, she will not do the same for Khushi.

NK is with Arnav and Khushi, period. Akash and Mami are in the no man's zone at this point.

*lets out a deep breath*

That was long! Anyways: Things I liked:

"Hum bhi apse I love you dammit!" and the blinding smile from Arnav 😍

Anjali is getting creepy, I am sorry. Some of her expressions are really scary. She is a bit overexcited at this point. Note to Daljeet, pregnant women of in her last trisemister with twins possibly DO NOT BOUNCE UP AND DOWN IN GIDDYNESS. But then who am I to comment on non-existent pregnancy.

Akash, yaar kabtak pink ke saath extra-marital affair chalauge? But I liked the reassuring look he gave to Payal after Arnav came back. The "See, I told you!" was very cute!

Nani and Buaji have been kept very consistent to their character. They, along with Payal and NK, will staunchly defend Khushi and because of Khushi, Arnav. There will come a time when they all will refuse Arnav in every form but because of Khushi they will thaw.

Arnav is getting good with his midnight rendezvous! Go for it Bitwa!!!

The last two episodes were AMAZING!!! I am loving it!!! Keep it up! Every single actor has been terrific! But a shout out to Barun and Swatnisji! You two have am amazing chemistry!
