Today, I am too happy to sulk...so I'll give you a reason, maybe a not good enough but a reason nonetheless as to why Arnav didn't disclose about the contract marriage.

Maybe because he knew that with his stupid witch of a Dadi around, he wouldn't be able to keep Khushi with himself had they gotten to know about the 'contract' thing. They created such a huge issue just because there were no pheras, imagine the disaster if the word 'contract' would have come up. And maybe because he didn't want to hurt his family members more?

Yes. The reason is not good enough...but then, its still one!

I wanted to strangle the Dadi too. How easily she chucked Khushi out of the house. She didn't even ONCE think about her won grandson's happiness. She simply didn't want her in the house...because? Well because she is demented.

Though, I'd like differ here Rima. See that scene once again when Dadi orders Buaji to take her back home, you'd see the horrified expressions of Nani, Anjali AND mamiji. Arnav toh horrified tha hi, par Nani ji and others were also shocked. AND before anyone could've said anything, Arnav already jumped in. That's why you didn't see anyone else protecting Khushi. He was there. Already. And the Raizadas,except that old witch, didn't want Khushi to go. It was evident.

In fact, I liked Anjali today. The way she is willing to welcome and warmly accept Khushi again because of her chottey, and that cute smile making a comeback again, made me happy.

Yes, I seriously hated Buaji's reaction, but then...Arnav did stop her.

Plus, I'd say that before Arshi's marriage, there had been MANY episodes which had highlighted about Khushi's virtues. In fact, episodes when Anjali and Nani were always admiring Khushi's virtues had only made Arnav realize what a gem of a person Khushi is. In fact, even after marriage, there were instances where her virtues were appreciated. Its not like it was ignored.

I know why Khushi and others were quiet. It was because 'elders' were speaking. Had it been for Arnav questioning her dignity, Khushi would have lashed out...like she did when he had called characterless.

And Rima, its an Indian soap. Heroine WOULD need a hero to protect herself against such accusations. If not the real hero, then some proof in the form of hero. Its really sad, but its the truth.

do u realize the implications? she was not told of the sindhur, mangalsutra, nothing!! as far as she was told they faked marriage and lived together!! she was told that there was NO marriage instead of telling her about halfway done rituals!!
and khushi the idiot looked down at her feet as if she was guilty!! buaji didn't even take the raizada's word for it!! she actually held khushi's chin softly and with trust and asked her for an explanation!n the idiot girl didn't explain!! didn't even try!

well honestly throw away the orphan part, my own mom would slap me then and there if she realized this such a thing!!🥱

we r looking at this as the overall picture...but consider only the few facts buaji has...then i think her behavior today was pretty justified...
don't forget she doesn't link her own hand in forcing Khushi shyam engagement to any of the things that took place... so how will she know she is at fault?

honestly as far as she is concerned, (as she doesn't know shyam's truth is revealed or about shyam abusing khushi inside RM or about Arnav marrying her cz of it) that engagement was a past happening that has been dead and buried and she thinks it had NO repercussions on anyone once the alliance was broken...

so in her position of ignorance, well can we blame her?

so he is saving his side of story here. he is very clear that poojali should not get effected more.so he wont reveal anything. but for khushi's character being questioned he will simply repeat 'she is my wife' and i dont believe in rituals. that is not expected from him

why so much humiliation for khuhsi ?why her dignity is being questioned all the time?

why none of the family member asked her why and how under what condition they married?

he didn't yet reveal that he forced her. he only said that it was kinda his fault and he was ready to rectify his ways and remarry her

1. he made the family happy & stopped them from blaming khushi continuously(for now)
2. he made khsuhi's wish come true! now she'll get the dream wedding!!

but the genius part of it all is CVs actually still kept the contract marriage + forced marriage secrets intact while NOT insulting Khsuhi over the top (she was insulted quite a bit..but he turned it around quite well comparatively!)!!!
thus paving the actual entry of Shyam in to the house!!

1. shyam can poison everyone that khushi was wrong as she hoodwinked Arnav, etc etc..
2. then Arnav can throw the final revelation about him forcing Khsuhi to overcome Shyam's accusations on Khsuhi!! and tell the contract part ONLY when the contract has been overridden through this next marriage!!!

cz if they said the truth, i mean the full truth today Shyam's route in to the house would forever be closed..cz till now only nani knows that Arnav knew shyam's deception from before...but even she doesn't know the MU and Arnav forcing Khsuhi to save Anjali's marriage..these will be good ammunition for ArHi when Shyam comes inside the house and in to Anjali's life again (unless he already is that is)..

i am not telling it was the correct thing to do...but this time it was considerably better..

Today I saw the height of hypocracy. Raizadas were fine when La was living together with ASR with no intention of marriage for indefinite time. But that is not acceptable for Khushi. I honestly felt like slapping Arnav today. Today's situation was created solely by him and now he might have stopped the physical slap from Buaji but the slap to Khushi's character sounded much louder to my ears.

P.S. Loved Khushi's hum bhi I love you damnit. But I'd have thought, "I love you, you damn coward" would be more appropriate.
