Yes totally...there may b a side benefit too. seeing him fighting dadi over Khushi may make Manorama realize what she is getting into by calling ASR's wife "Phati Saree" .

Also this focus on the past is diluting my expected redemption track, because(IMO) of TRP this character was introduced early in the game, we haven't had a proper romance track, no continuity from last Wednesday(prior to brother and sister's day) and then this bigger than life character came.
We are going to get KKG wooing ASR instead of him wooing her, trying to pacify him because of his grief.
When I watched the bedroom scene today, when the female lead was telling him not to worry about the grandmother, she didn't know about their marriage, his main focus was not about her insult at all😕 (though however tragic the past granted).
Sorry no, for all the wrong that he has done to this girl I am appalled how some easily forget.😲

As I said, I would love to hate her. But nevertheless she impressed me today. Such a screen presence and attitude. Ya I guess I am gonna be one of the few people who look forward to Daadi and ASR nok jhok.

Me too unhappy with the diluted redemption track. I was promised an desperate ASR who would hurt himself by zee_news, i was promised an agony and anguish of ASR for ruining khushi's life by gul, i was promised a peetal ka barthan by naani. Me too kind of feel cheated.

But this track is interesting to say the least. Every story should have a just factor. Even if khushi forgives him, the mistake he committed is still remaining as a mistake. Now since daadi is in the picture, he would get an idea how his mistake is impacting khushi and how she is not getting the required respect because of the temple marriage. That realization should hit him IMO.

However I do love the description of Naniji and I completely agree with it!!👍🏼 She has always been one of my favorites and she's definitely my favorite on-screen grandparent. I love her expressions today and that even though they are best friends, Naniji still questioned her as to how she could just leave Arnav and Anjali like that right after they lost both their parents.
