Yes I loved Trin n her morning theory😆
waise its intresting to be on Redux, someone said K is a lte bloomer now Trin says A is a Morning person😆

No wonder these two can't get anywhere...and here we are blaming other people for interrupting 😆

On that note, I'm going back to bed. Got up early to watch Olympics swimming and track n field. Phelps retired today after winning the last gold, so a bit of a bittersweet moment for me.

Good luck for the fast Jhals 😊

Now coming to the episode, I have cracked the code. You're thinking, "What code, may I ask?" Offcourse you may. It's the code where two extremely good looking, hot, passionately in love married people, who share the same room, same bed night after night and for the love of Life cannot even get to second base. And the answer to this million dollar questions is:

"Arnav Singh Raizada is a morning person."☺️

Yup as soon as I saw the morning after scene (well morning after the hug), Arnav devouring his sleeping beauty with those melting caramel eyes, the tubelight of my brain flashed for a few glorious seconds and then went off again. But by that time I have cracked the code which has been plaguing us ArHi fans since the GunShot wedding. I am not going to elaborate on the morning person statement, all of you can let your imaginations and theories run wild.😳

He's certainly understood that the journey to KKGSR's heart is through her stomach and gifts her chanas ,jalebis and gol gappes. 😆

We get the loop closure and getting her dignity back with the pearl which started 14 months ago with the tearing of the pearl strings at Sheesh Mahal. I know all my wise friends will elaborate on this scene but what was interesting for me was the part that after opening the box Khushi's flashback is to the dream sequence of Arnav gifting her the pearls rather than the actual scene of tearing the pearls strings. This pure soul loves Arnav wholeheartedly and she does not remember any bad memories associated with him. BS's eyes conveyed all the pain, regret, apology, love in that scene so wonderfully that I decided to royally ignore the baldy BD for the entire episode. Barun Sobti is just getting too good and no matter what I say it will fall short at this point.👏 Also loved the fact that for the first time Arnav initiated the hug. And Khushi hugging him back is the acceptance of the apology. That's all my lazy brain cooked up from that scene.😊

And then straight to morning where I got my Eureka moment.😎 Arnav looking at his wife with all the love,passion and desire in the world and it really felt like the morning after with Khushi the blushing bride. The slow walk towards her started and in my mind I am going, move faster you idiot and then who is going to walk in this time? 🥺 *Science Fiction Alert* I'm not sure if any of you are Doctor Who fans (David Tennant is still the best Doctor, mind you). In that long running wonderful show, there is a cyborg race called Daleks who are The Doctor's oldest antagonists. Whenever they come on screen trying to kill the Doctor, they say in a metallic voice "Exterminate, exterminate". For some reason, whenever Arnav-Khushi gets close and we get a tingling feeling in our stomach, I get a metallic voice in my head going "Interruption, interruption" and sure enough something happens. Today also I wasn't disappointed as this time it was Nani's turn to turn Dalek. Atleast she had the decency to knock and did not just barge in. We got a nice moment too as Arnie assures Khushi before walking out that more slow-mo walks, attempted kisses are in order and we see Khushi's in love smile.

Lmao, you made my day with this post Trin!!! And I can tell you LOVED the morning scene, and Arnav's smouldering good looks!! He clearly is a morning person with that lust filled look of his!! 🤣 🤣

Oh yeh!! David Tennant all the way!! Such an odd thing to link with IPK, the Daleks, LOL

And Trin, you write so well!!! Absolutely ❤️ your take on the FB, never looked at it that way, the fact that it implied Khushi had no bad memories tied to the pearls..beautiful!

Kudos! I throw your words right back at you, I expect you to post a lot more, tis very refreshing! x

did he choose to do in those 24 hours? Make her realise his love for him?
Awaken her fighting spirit? Irk her? Tease her? Tire her? Pressure her into
coming home? Push her past her limits? Yes, perhaps so, however it was also a
period in which he made every effort to gauge her every reaction, and to
measure them against his own barriers to love...that is, his desire to take
ownership, to control the flow of emotions and to conceal his hearts mind. And
in order to overcome these barriers, it was important for him to have Khushi
back at RM, where much of these barriers

else can he prove and assure her of his love if he himself is unable to overcome the barriers to them?

</p>

<font size="2" color="#990000">I had always thought that ASRs fateful journey of love began
the day they had their first rabba vey, the day when Khushi Kumari Gupta stood
her ground, rooting herself in righteous stead, by refusing to wear the
revealing label of AR designs. Perhaps fate, that her one direct refusal would
lead to countless others, whereby ASRs hold over his own destiny and that of
others, began to waver. Seeing her adorned in a red saree, he became mesmerised;
and the moment he became captivated by her beauty was the first sign of his
control slipping...
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">However, tonight's episode directed my attention back to
their first ever meeting at sheesh mahal. Her running in to him, no matter how
accidental, made me realise that the workings of fate started from that very first
moment, as did his journey of love. Remember, the beginnings of love need not
be a bed of roses.
</font>

<font size="2" color="#990000"></font>

<font size="2" color="#990000">No matter how deeply rooted his hatred was for her; as it is
only when he entered the throws of hatred, that fate would have him look to his
own self for barriers which prevented him from taking full control over her
life, which for him was a matter of retaining his pride and ego.
</font>

<font size="2" color="#990000"></font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">His fight for control began the very moment he aggressively
pulled her towards him and pulled at her dori, baring her back. The beads of
pearls which scattered as a result, was a sign of her lost dignity, her fallen modesty,
her injured humility. Her tears of hurt and sorrow was a clear victory for the
mighty ASR; a girl who was inevitably dictated by the writings of his own fate,
or was it?
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033"></font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">Look at the scene carefully, then one will find how he had lost to her in that very first battle...</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">
</font>

<font size="3">- A girl, who broke down in helplessness, quickly regained composure
and covered her modesty with her long tresses. She was once again in control.
</font>

<font size="3">- A girl, whose dignity was trampled upon, refused to plead
guilty to his accusations, never once losing to her crumbling emotions.</font>

<font size="3">- A girl, whose status was made a mockery of, never once did
she back down from speaking her heart and mind.</font>

<font size="2"><font color="#000033">But then what of his victory?? In that same moment we saw an ASR who wasthwarted from his attempts at taking control, let his anger prevail (losing control over his emotions) and for one split moment, revealed his hearts mind, seemingly affected by her veryexistence. </font><font color="#990000">So you tell me, who was it that came out victorious?</font></font><font color="#000033"></font>

<font size="2" color="#990000">And my word, look at how things have changed! How the tables
have turned! The journey which began in bitter conflict and mounting hatred,
has now led them to an endless cycle of love. A journey through which both are
travelling as equals, and through which both are to come out victorious.
</font>

<font size="2" color="#990000"></font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">What I saw in tonight's episode is a man who is willing to
break down the very boundaries which otherwise, would prevent him from reaching
out to his love. By freeing himself internally, he is able to accept his love
whole heartedly, so much so that his love becomes limitless.
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033"></font>

<font size="2" color="#990000">For me, recent episodes have been more about ASRs journey into
love and his open acceptance of it, and for him to do that, he's had to understand
his Khushi, her comforts, her discomforts, her boundaries, her growing fears,
her desires, her dreams...everything. And in doing so, he's able to overcome his
own boundaries to l

<font size="2" color="#000033">
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">When he leads her into their room, he lets her enter into
the darkness of her own free will, courteously holding the door open for her. He
lets her stumble and gives her full reign of the situation. A far cry from the man who once locked her up to be swallowed by the very darkness her forced upon her. A man, who once
looked to exercise full control, is willingly handing that control over to his
wife, so that she may realise the extent of their growing love. One thing he's
learnt about his Khushi is to behave with her always as he has done, in order
for her to feel at home. She's most confident, not when he utters sweet
nothings, but keenly taunts her, provoking a response from her. And she gives
it to him freely...
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">
</font>

<font size="2" color="#990000">His calculated response provides just the right amount of
ammunition for her to admit her own plans of getting him to wear the kurta
pyjama. Is he surprised? No, but he is humbled, enough to want to express his
own joy and happiness over doing something which pleases her. He further glows
when she exercises his wifely rights over him, reaching out to close his
buttons, unaware of his sweet intentions. As soon as she's found out, she turns
away from him, concealing her reactions; but he openly wishes to face her,
without any pretensions, without any games. What a beautiful continuation of
their last encounter, in which false pretences was all she had to offer. But
now that he's latched onto her, and her ways of thinking, he'll do all he can
for her to openly accept his love.
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">He keenly observes her, her hesitance, before turning her to
face him. At that point his face reveals all; his wanting to re-assure her of
his love makes him overstep another one of his boundaries when he honestly
reveals his own level of discomfort, warmly asking her about his motives - "have
you ever wondered why?"
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">His tender kiss provides all the answers. It was all for her, for that one smile of hers.</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033"></font>

<font size="2" color="#990000">Her one smile lights up the darkness, providing him with the
answer he wanted, her acceptance of his warm intentions. He switches on the
lights to surprise her with her gifts, and surprise her he does. This time
however, he doesn't force his gifts on her; he waits for her to accept them,
willingly...
</font>

<font size="2" color="#990000">
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">And what a transpiring of love! His genuine feelings of joy
and happiness whilst witnessing hers, speaks volumes about his sincerity and
the depth of his love. For him, this display of affection is all about giving,
not taking. He's learnt that the value of a gift is not in what it holds, but
the joy that it can bring.
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033"></font>

<font size="2"><font color="#990000">The gifts he chose were priceless, a true memento of their
past memories; memories which encapsulate the journey of their love, both
painfully beautiful. Tonight, he brought back those memories, uniting them in
the hope of creating a single memory in which both can look towards, in future,
with fondness.</font>
</font>

<font size="2">
</font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">The chane, his first gift from the heart, Salman's poster, which was once an eyesore for him, but hey, whatever floats her boat, gol gappe, sweet and spicy as she is - the snacks she fed him so lovingly with her own hands, exercising her wifely rights, jalebi, the sweetness of her childhood; the fact that she knew they were from Chandni chowk is evident of just how well he knows her, and finally, the gift of pearls...returning to her, her lost dignity. A gift which takes them back to the very beginning, when fate brought them together...</font>

<font size="2">
</font>

<font color="#990000"><font size="2">They're all gifts which connects them emotionally; and
proves just how much he's grown to understand his Khushi and the things which
make her happy. By giving her those gifts, he's given back her identity, the
identity of Khushi Kumari Gupta ' Singh Raizada - a girl, whose place is at RM,
as much as it is at GH. He looks to accept her for who she is, her habits, her
pain, her joy, and her fears; and longs to make them his own.
</font></font>

<p>

<font size="2" color="#000033">When it came to opening her final gift, a precious line of pearls, in that one moment, he bore his soul to her, his expressions
reflecting the tumult of emotions that siege within her. Silent understanding
passes between the two, as they both realise the significance of the gift...her
lone tear expresses her defeat in the face of his love, and her victory and
acceptance over her restored dignity. Her flash back of her dream turning into
reality provided her with that assurance she longed for. And with that
assurance, she was able to take that first step in accepting his loving
embrace, retuning it with equal measure.</font>

<font size="2" color="#990000">He leans into her, nuzzling his face against hers, painfully
aware of his erring ways, his guilt pushing him to break down all barriers, as
he desperately holds onto her, reassuring her of his love. Her eyes finally shut,
finding relief and solace in his loving hold...her unwavering smile, revealing
her firm acceptance. </font>

<font size="2" color="#990000"></font>

<font size="2" color="#000033">The next morning she awakes, unsure as to whether or not it was all
a dream. The realisation hits her when she finds him in front of her,
waiting for her to awaken from her dream, and to accept the reality that is in
front of her very eyes. He eyes her, wearing his heart on his sleeve, wanting her to know that he's there for her, and forever will be...his final gift to her...leaving her breathless.</font>

<font size="2" color="#990000">ASR's journey of love is just like the above quotation --<font face="Georgia, Times New Roman, Times, serif">"Sell
your cleverness and buy bewilderment."</font>In doing so,he's learnt to free himself, by way of letting go of the intellectual and rational mind, sacrificing his calculated approach to everything he does in life, and leaving himself open to the path of love. I say open, because their journey is far from over yet, *humaari baath abhi khatam nahi hui* - in fact, it's just starting...</font>

<font size="2" color="#333333">
</font>

<font color="#cc0033" size="3">Thank you CVs for giving us an episode which translates right from the heart...and to Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani for making that possible.</font>

Trin : The morning person analysis was too good...😆😆😆 my stomach still hurts...Daleks..Lol I want GH to read u'r take watching his reaction would be more worthwhile than caramel eyes for a change...😉

Sheila: You rock gal...the reactions conveyed what half the female population tuned in felt-aap ne humare thoughts ko shabdon mein bayan kiya. an apt 360 degree view at characters in the current scenario.😃
Ritika: Beautiful bits.. they made the episode so much enjoyable.😊 Thanks for highlighting them. I loved the button scene too.. it was my star scene of the day... the lengths Arnav would go for Khushi... the difference being this time he has understood his simple wife needs to be told about it..
Appu: give and receive so apt for this two... they have been givers never comfortable on just receiving... Arnav fought hard at being on the selfless receiving end from Khushi.. the thought simply unfathomable for him.. but he gradually learnt,, it is a wonderful experience to have some one like that in one's life... and he is making his wife realize that..😳 Loved that u highlighted this...👏
Shaz: I loved what you wrote today... One of the best post I read in a long time👏👏👏. I salute you for writing this...Take a bow lady.I have bookmarked it for reading once again ASR's journey into love...
K2:reminded me of the story again gifts of the magi with a happy ending not the poignant one...this time our Jim didnot falter to bring what his della loves most -her smile...wonderful piece of writing...worth the wait.👏👏👏

I hope Khushi will give him what he needs- the assurance that, come what may, she will always be there for him; that she will never leave his side.

Going by the signs at present, one thing is for sure, that unlike his "Pink Brand" cousin, Arnav Singh Raizada will never take his wife for granted. He knows.

RANDOM THOUGHTS

    The door to ARHI's room need some expert attention from Harry Potter and his associates... a nice mixture of Muffiliato, Imperturbable and Raizada repellant charms would do it!
    He refuses to tell his wife anything... oh really? ... Double Standards, anyone?

    Anjali wants to start afresh... Good for you, girl! But a teensy weensy bit of a doubt...

To start afresh, don't you have to lay the past at rest?

Would it do to let doubts remain in your mind?

No matter how deep you burry the seeds of doubt, they'll take root and grow shoots.

    Anjali was talking to someone outside. Khushi goes up to her and tries to see who it is behind the tree, when there is absolutely no space between the said tree and the boundary wall...
  • The above mentioned tree has been seen before.

No problem! Absolutely none! I love trees! Go green; save the environment!

I have finally completed a marathon reading session of Thursday's and Fridays REDUX. "Wow!" Is all I can say. So many writers, each one more talented than the other. What variations in thoughts and points of view. I am glad to be a part of you. I loved each and every one of the write ups, be it Cutebarun's "Cute Pagalpan" on the RB episode, Vi's "Box of Spices", Nia's gentle meanderings, Anna's feelings, Trin's hilarious IPK adventures with her hubby, Shaz's running commentary or Bushy's witty yet deep posts. As for Tanths and Doods, you are unbeatable, both of you! And also Kopal, Sandy, Jhalak, Koel, Supna, Sheila, Sumi, Naresh, Divya, Sharmi... I simply love reading your takes. Keep them coming. Our new talents Ritika, Shreya and others... please do continue. Let us all continue to party at REDUX

Appu, you are GENIUS, love your posts!! Always so BANG ON!! Your words on Khushi's happiness, his re-assurance and the value of gifts was simply moving! And of course, how can we do without the humour, your concern for Anjali and her talking to trees had me rofl!! GO GREEN!!!! Indeed! 🤣

Equally humorous was your reference to Harry Potter, lol and Akaash being Arnav's pink branded cousin - who most definitely does NOT know how to value his wife!!

Thank YOU Appu for sharing your delightful thoughts with us, redux just wouldn't be the same without you! 😊
