A promise to love and protect.

Aww...that's what I want to say first. It was a simple yet beautiful episode.😳

The highlight of it was of course the brother-sister bond but the episode subtly portrayed the beautiful bonds of love shared by every member of the family.

A mother's happiness on seeing her son, a brother's smile on seeing his brother, a sister's face lighting up on seeing her younger sister, three brother's bonding with each other, a caring nani enquiring about her relatives, a bhabhi's concern for the happiness and well being of her nanand and a pure, beautiful friendship shared by two people.

Raksha Bandhan is a special day for siblings when a brother makes a promise to protect his sister and makes the day special for her and a sister's prays for her brother's good health and well being.

It was Anjali's day and she could demand any gift from her brother as a sister. When Khushi walked in with the Raksha dhaga, Anjali did let her in but she had reservations. She accepted the dhaga for herself and the baby as it was a blessing from devi maiyya, but she didn't allow Khushi to tie it on her wrist. Khushi was the reason her perfect world came crumbling down. She doesn't have enough faith on Khushi to protect her. But it's the intention counts. Whether Anjali trust her or allows her, Khushi will always be there to look out for her.

Her three brothers wanted to make the day special for her in every possible way . She doesn't have to worry about NK or Akash. They are always there, right beside her. Her only concern is her chotey, who she feels is drifting away from her. She is no longer his world; his world is someone else now. Can she just spend some time with her chotey? That's all she wants.

Khushi found out the right way to make the day special for Di. Only Arnav could make it special for her and just a simple gesture from him would do to trick. Khushi went to NK, her best friend who is always there to help her and make things easy for her.

Khushi herself didn't want to go Arnav so she asked NK to pass on the message and he happily delivered the message.

Anjali always wanted her chotey to embrace traditions because she values them. Arnav Singh Raizada, a man who never bends for anyone, can and will always go out of his to make his Di happy. He put on the sherwani his Di gifted him a long time ago even though it made him uncomfortable. He smiled without complaining because his Di smiled. Is it a sign of things to come?

Arnav certainly knows whose idea it was for him to wear the sherwani. His Khushi. Despite their current equation, deep down, she considers him as her husband and his family as her own. While his Di was elated to see him in the sherwani and the rest of his family was equally excited, he was stealing glances towards his wife. He was gloating inside with pride and happiness because it was his Khushi who came up with the perfect surprise for Di. He knows she can't leave him. She is here to be with him forever.

When Khushi saw Arnav walking down the stairs, her face lit up in happiness and excitement. There might be issues, there might be misunderstandings but in moments like these, one can never hide their true feelings.

Anjali wondered whose idea it was but before NK could say anything, Khushi gave the credit to NK. She knows how Anjali feels about her at the moment. She didn't want steal her moment with her brothers.

Anjali tied rakhi to all three of her brothers and they promised to keep her safe. Will she allow them to protect her? Or will she unknowingly embrace the danger, a danger that might destroy her family.

Sanaya Irani - Simply beautiful. 😃 Loved the first outfit. It was a refreshing change from the all primary colors. You looked beautiful in the sari. It was a treat to see Khushi in a sari after a long and the combination of orange and red made you look like a ray of sunshine. Loved your expression when Khushi saw Arnav in sherwani. 😳

It was such a rare day in IPKKND when everyone was well dressed and looked really good. Daljeet, Deepali looked great in their new sarees, Akshay and Karan looked handsome in their sherwanis. Can we hope for some more new outfits for the leads? 😳

Good to see that Akshay has trimmed his beard, it suits him better. It also means that Akash will be reforming soon. 😉 😆
