Great post. The other problem is that before the marriage, everytime ASR did something cruel, there was a FB where he thought about the error he made with Khushi and showed regret.

They have stopped that completely and nw we never understand why ASR does the things he does. There are no FB's and no inner thought process and hence we can no longer empathasize with ASR and no longer defend him for his cruel actions.

From the beginning the writers suggested that both ASR and khushi are heaviliy flawed characters .. we will talk specifically about ASR .. he followed a certain mindset... now that he has fallen in love with khushi , the writers are showing how a very flawed individual is slowly returning to being a healthy human being ... this transition is slow and as we all know transitions dont happen overnight ..

Mate u know more than the character it about the feeling that he madly loves khushi and even a drunken man will take steps to mend his relationship delicately. Iam 100% sure a true lover in such circumstance will fear losing his love interst and thereby he would not take strict way but approach politely , gently so that he doesnt no lose his love. Each step would be planned with caution. But here Arnav is hell bent on doing things wrong way. This is not sign of a true lover .A true lover sometimes even doesnt propose a girl and keeps frieindship thinking that if the girl rejects his love . Steps in lve has to taken carefully because u have a tension of LOSING that Person. But again here u cant say this is ASR character. I have mentioned already

I somewhat agree with u. Also, I would like to add that he is ASR only in front of khushi now. All his ruthlessness, ego, anger and insensitivity is reserved for khushi only as ever since he came back to RM, I haven't seen any of his ASR characteristics coming out at play in front of his family members. True ASR, the one before maariage would have seriously blasted off Mami for taunting and torturing his wife and her sister time and again but this arnav doesn't do it. ASR would have reprimanded akash for being a jerk but this arnav won't do it. ASR would have a given a thought to khushi's pain but this arnav won't do it.
So how is he ASR. I guess he is ASR only In making deals with his wife and blackmailing her

Yes, ASR has broken some of his rules but obviously he hasn't reached the near-perfect when it comes to his love for Khushi; there are still some bit of his rules or ASRness in him that is a hindrance for his love. And I guess this is about him overcoming that... except that ASR is totally clueless about how to do it the right way...how to get Khushi back in his life the right way.. He is going about the wrong way by trying to get Khushi back using the rent money, etc. I hope at the end of all this ASR realizes that money cannot hold relationships and that he has wronged Khushi by taking advantage of her problem... and I hope after that he would go the right way in trying to get Khushi back in his life.

PS: Not defending ASR's actions... I agree he is wrong.

ASR is like this, ASR's character is intact, ASR is right in his avatar--these are the most pathetic explanations I have ever come across in IF..
Thank u again for making the post to show that ASR's character has become a self-contradictory pathetic clown..
