Sri several reasons, they don't want to have a sad Teej for Anjali without Shyam bad for TRP's. Now the track is focusing on Arnav /Khushi to have a stronger bond so can't bring in Shyam .

Di, Partridge(a bird) represents ASR and pear fruit is the knowledge that ASR has about Khushi. The partridge eats the fruit and where will he build a nest only on the pear tree.The dwarf pear tree is not an easy place to build a nest for the partridge but he doesn't give up. I hope I made sense Di pata nahi I must be looking too much into it . But wiki gives a good breakdown of the 12 days and if we apply those to IPK it makes complete sense to me.
