Hey annie...a much needed thread especially after the recent encounters we all seem to have had.

The first most used word on iF is ofcourse bashing, and right behind it is spreading negativity.

Anything contrary to the popular opinion is considered as bashing. Stating any views that are contrary to popular opinion automatically translate to "spreading negativity."

I do not understand why though. We are all adults here (well most of us) and we all have opinions. We all should know that everyone will never have the same opinion about any topic...hell some people disavow the Holocaust. So as you see every single person will never agree on a topic. There will always be those who go against the current so to speak. And it is absolutely okay to go against the current. The greatest people in history have done it. If my memory serves me correctly Galileo discovered that the Earth was not the center of the universe and was ostracized for it even though he was absolutely right, but the popular opinion was the exact opposite. The times have changed so much since then. We moved from a monarchy to a democracy. Then why is it that still the minority is ostracized...whether it is in real life, gays being bashed, muslims being mistreated, or in the virtual reality...IF.

Why do people not understand this simple fact that everyone will never have a same opinion. We are all unique beings with unique biology and unique experiences. So then why must everyone on this forum idolize Barun Sobti/ Arnav and if you do not idolize him, praise him then you are told you are spreading negativity or you are bashing. People behave atrociously with you for the simple reason of having a difference in opinion. Why? I do not understand?

How can anyone behave so rudely to another human for such a measly thing as a tv show?

PS. I had no idea you all moved here. I was like where is everyone.

loopy i find the recycling in the industry quite tiresome..they have std ways of picturising and dramatising emotions...making em so streotypical...

love dupata flutter...wind chimes...deep looking into ones eyes...flirtatious nose touching...almost keiss cornering...sexy moments trip fall carry stare...pull back fringe behind ear

and then the really sexual...rub hand and squeeze waiste...pull dori...

not to forget the clished alway almost never hapens and then the girl at last min shy's turns away and runs where he pulls her back by pallu

pallu duppatta get stuck in odd places...

theyve milked these same scenes in diff permutations...i am so wanting new ...even if the story is old the screen play could make all the diff...

Absolutely agree with you. We watch it out of habit and so we can diss it here. Plus we all love getting together and talking...even if it isnt about IPK. Met some amazing people on this forum. You know you were actually the first friends I made on IF. Then you invited me to the famous CC thread and I met all these wonderful people. Swathi if you hadnt invited me I would never have felt comfortable talking to strangers. But you told me to come and I met so many amazing, witty, crazy in a good way, fantabulous people. So thank you.
