Many of you didnt like the post marriage comedy between arnav and khushi but I loved it.

You know why because it made sense. Khushi is a character who will get back at anyone if they irritate her and this is her way of getting back at arnav whom she actually loves. They made it funny and entertaining instead of serious drama and fights between the two. If they had maintained the episodes to continue on the same note as the marriage day, arnav and khushi relationship would have been very serious and it would have been very painful to watch them both in serious fighting scenes. This comedy that you guys dont like also showed arnavs and khushi's care and love for each other and it was actually why khushi got even more anxious to know why her arnav who loves her, hates her so much too. They didnt turn this serial into a serious drama and maintained the youthfulness in it and I am happy for that. There are plenty of serious dramas on air right now but ipkknd is different and provides entertaining and stress free romantic comedy. I have nothing against it except that they should take care of the bloopers (which are becoming more and more obvious), maintain the characters look (it has become sloppy with even the actors not caring about their look anymore) and not forget / deviate from the story line. consistency is very important.

hey..!! I totally agree with first half of ur comment..:)

But that track didn't work with TRP's..TRP's were low..First time when they came up with that I was totally cool with it..Because of that marriage drama show was serious..so that track was like a stress buster kind..lol..Many hidden agenda's were there in that track too..

But I don't know why Lalit Mohan and his direction is a complete different thing altogether..

Old IPKKND's charm has gone..so did TRP..We have not crossed 3.5 from past 3 to 4 months..

Blooper I literally ignore them now..left with no choice..😆

TRP are very difficult to track I feel. As GH said in twitter (from what i understood, correct me if i am wrong) select TV sets are installed with a device which records the show watched at that time and these select sets can be anywhere. So, it all depends on luck more than the popularity of the show. If majority of the sets are owned by people who dont like romance or think ippknd is too modern, youthful then the trp will be low naturally for ipkknd. I myself know quite a few in my apt complex who are young but like the serious serials. so, it is all luck. I wish the internet hits are also counted for trp then ipkknd would have been at the top always.

about the director, what i meant is since the same director gave us the romance and comedy post marrriage why are you questioning him now? Though I too have my concerns which i voiced out in quite a few posts, overall i am not going point out faults at one person. First and foremost the avoidable errors should be corrected and then the cvs should nt deviate from the story much for the sake of prolonging the show. Like yest i questioned why the cvs wanted to show the irrelevant pack/unpack drama? I thought the comedy was because arnav was searching for ways to stay with khushi. but then he left to RM. Now, i read someones post and am satisfied that arnav probably later felt for his di who is alone and hence went to RM.

The problem isnt much with the director. If u see the Rangmunch videos, u will know all those interesting scenes like the matchmaking of Payash by Arshi and that Jaadu hai nasha hai scene ..Diwali scenes, the Wedding scenes etc were all directed by Arshad Khan. He must have been directing from Nov. Dec onwards. I feel its the CVs and writers who have created all those cheap inconsistent comedy scenes where one episode was based on one track and the next day it was completely forgotten..like the dabba service, tuitions and so on

CAN'T AGREE WITH YOU Dear!!!

The director has nothing much to do with it, it's the scriptwriters whose work you didn't like!!

If you ask me, I don't think I disliked any of the tracks so far, except the kidnapping track & that's only because it went for too long!! Every track had a message !!

All those interesting romantic scenes that you are mentioning here (like Diwali scene & so on..) are directed by Arshad only.. So, please have all the information ready with you before you post such a MAJOR topic.. & I request you to pass this "CORRECT" info to those friends who are unaware of it..

I don't want to hurt LM fans, but the reason Arshad doesn't have a public profile and LM has; people are under HUGELY WRONG IMPRESSION and keep on bringing this topic repeatedly!!

Arshad was the PRIME director of this show from beginning & also another 4 lions famous show Geet, LM only helped him for some time for IPKKND & now moved on to the other shows of 4 lions..

ARSHAD is VERY FAMOUS for romantic scenes.. I think WE ARE RATHER LUCKY THAT HE IS DIRECTING IPKKND !!!

Honestly I have to disagree -- Arshad is GREEN. Direction brings "flavor" to the proceedings we see. THe problem with the current situation is they are not able to make us "feel" for the characters. The current track does not require this but when it comes to the "true Apology" Arshad will fall short just like he did during the whole "stand and look at my expression-free face" time when Barun returned.

Actually the writers who write screenplay are usually "one" with the director. Director's vision of how we should see the proceedings need to be in sync with the guy that writes the screenplay. Screenplay is just as important as the story.

That combination was tight as long as Lalit was with the show -- it has slowly started drifting after that. The current stuff is funny and well written and hence palatable. I am watching the show now purely for writing and the approach and obviously the good actors. The direction part is just dead at this point.
