And reminding us how important it is to keep the two separate. I completely agree,...in Khushi's case, she cannot reconcile herself to the marriage because of the shelf life on it. Therein the "undefined" for me...or as you put it poignantly on Tuesday, her "nightmare." But on the flip side of those feelings, is the love factor. Which has always been there, and she knows it...Now comes the tug between the "institution of marriage" and "love"...

Ah, your questions are the brain teaser of the century.😆..I took Khushi's "tale" at face value other than her description of the niece's husband (which I agree)...I now have to go back & look at the story and Manu's dialogues to fully take a crack at your take...Inbhestigation karne ka padi!!!😎

Coming from you, that appreciation means a lot! 😊
Manu always throws hints .. I love her for that. 😆 Most of her apparently meaningless comments mean something totally different. 😛
I have always loved Khushi a little more than Arnav .. Embarrassed I will be honest - it took me some time to finally settle things with Arnav. I love them both but Khushi will always be special - I guess that is why I understand her better than Arnav or probably I attempt more.

👏👏👏 Take a bow crooner ladies! What wonderful write-ups! Made my morning, really! I got up very groggy and amidst mid-week blues, read your wonderful takes and it really has me perked up. Sorry, I forget the specific names and I might be missing out on some but Priya, Nandalala (anjali?), indi, Omaraboti, Sunshine, wonderful posts!

Just this morning, I was seeing a repeat of the Raksha Bandhan episode when Arnav loses it and tells his Di that it is his home after all and attempts to get Khushi back with a show of his money power. I was cooking and husband was getting ready for work.. but he found the episode so compelling that he actually sat down to watch. And we had this wonderful discussion about how mere love is not important.. there is so much more to it and that so much more is all about giving the other person dignity and respect.

He is clear hearted; he never meant to tell his Di that it is his house but he said it nevertheless. He never meant to tell Khushi that she was responsible for everything but he said it nonetheless. It is this strange mixture of ego, vulnerability, pure heart and want of love that makes him real and special. But but but.

Arnav's assertions of tum mere patni ho or tumko haq hain will do nothing to erase the lack of respect he has inadvertently shown her always. The rewatching of that episode brought it home to me more than ever how much ASR needs to fill in the gap..

Loving her is not enough; being passionate about her is not enough. Giving her dignity and respect that she more than deserves, which he has never given her.. from the time she was an employee to the time he was attracted to her and then when she was his wife... that will get Khushi back. He has to understand that more than love and trust, what is missing is that essential respect. Perhaps Khushi herself does not understand what she wants from him.. she hasn't been able to articulate it to herself, let alone to him. It is up to ASR's 'shaatir dimaag' to understand, assimiliate and then act upon what is required. And that will be the real redemption. Not going down on his knees with roses and candles.

@Priya, about your point about the forum, I have distanced myself from it. Just like the real world, to tell people to be sensitive and understanding is to hit your head against a wall. It is better to stay in crooner 😃
I feel very happy to be so involved with a story so layered and that holds so much promise. For people who are bent on finding faults, there is no hope. They will do that always.

but he will no doubt walk the talk, feel her need, know it isn't unjustified, and do what he has to do. in the meantime he will flirt, kiss, leave her with a smile and a stirring in her heart. he had said he'd never give her the "darja" of a patni but now he's insisting on her claiming her "haq." there are indeed no straight lines in the universe. i was abs astounded when i read your hesse quote. about 4 or 5 years ago i remember writing a piece in my blog on precisely that.

the way we insist on the straight line in our limited reality. how desperately we try to teach our kids to draw it, what shabashi we bestow when the line gets straighter, we don't notice the joy leaving the child's eye as everything in her or his life gets straighter, ever so rigid.

but in nature where is the straight line?

my thought had ended on, there's only one straight line that i could see: the one that connects our thoughts. yesterday his "tum janti ho," might be a good example of that. also the look on his face and hers after the kiss, yeah thoughts definitely connected there.

i really enjoyed the other quotes. the gibran one very intriguing. those who understand us do enslave us in a way, but if your madness is true blue genuine 110 percent, there's no fear of anyone figuring that out ever. hee hee.

also, in agreement about seeing what you like rather than dwelling on what's wrong. nothing is ever perfect the way you thought it would be. but in the net, if you prefer to hang around something or someone, look for what makes you happy in that or them, there will always be stuff you dislike.

that kiss was such a happy making moment for me, along with that air of yeah i scored on someone as he strode out, and of course that smile on madamji of utter haq's face. aw she lifted her hand to touch the spot, just as i told her to. uff what a straight line that was.

me in smiley loopy frame of mind. would love to discuss today, don't think there's a spec of analysis in me though, sab wo striding man leh gaya. so ha!, as promised, gandhari, nooo looong post.

OMG, Di, thank you so much for delineating the "linear" factor👏...Isn't that Hesse quote something!? Again, a throwback to my philosophy days in college! I do think there is nothing "rectilinear" in nature...in fact, if we think about it, the "linear" concept is actually something man has applied to him/herself. A contradiction to some extent, because on the same token, our thoughts are linear, or some may prefer to use lateral as a more suitable word. He has wanted and maybe to some degree, expected that she will connect with his thoughts along the way...the "tum jaanti ho" pretty much spelled this, as did the "effect" of the kiss on her. But along these same lines, he finally realized that there is the connect is missing on other levels. Here is where he now has the opportunity to start thinking "linearly"---connect the dots on that line...make sense of it all (which he is very good at doing anyways...shaatir dimaag joh hai!)
I can't believe you wrote that there isn't a "spec of analysis" in you today😲...to that I say...hyuck!!!😆😆 Missed the long post, but this one was uber fab for me! I'll take what I get!😃

Never misjudge d faithful heart of your beloved: Beethoven

Arnav Smug Raizada: guilty as charged.

And that's is what he is paying for…been taken for a ride by his wife…who is exercising her sadda haq….not allowing him to enter d house on d pretext of Buaji and Amma will be busy catering to son in law…almost throws him out saying Buaji is sleeping…misleads him to d hospital and then calls him midway and informs they no longer need to be picked up …he can go back home…huh…hopefully I don't sound anti Khushi….i was just giving d details…😉.

But didnt I said Khushi has been wronged…by d person whom she she loves d most…doesn't love gives you that power to show all your anger and helplessness on your lover…yes it does….but my ASR is so quintessential man...just like hundred other husbands…he picks up d cue…that something is wrong with Khushi but unless you spell it out they take a little time to do simple 2+2=4.

Arnav tries with his charm…a little bit of closeness..will it do d trick…will d tip of iceberg melt…heres a big shout out to BS till it reaches Malad….yeah d trick worked baby…on all d audience irrespective of age…let me proof it…my mom 63 years was practicing SOSHAN in your style early in d morning…ok crooners before naughty minds work overtime she was practicing d way Bs pronounced….

Holding d prescription away frm d body…d other rebellious figure pressing close..ok lets play d game of shart and deal…poor Khushi why do want to play d game which raizada never lose? Ok very soon she will understand it's a win win game….

Khushi's smile after d kiss….have nothing to add…priya said it all

Mr Hrishikesh, next time pls pan d camera frm d angle am watching…don't worry about d bangs…I wud remove them.

I don't blame Khushi when he says tum janti ho and immediately she looks at d lips….yeah babe you know where to look at…

I pity d mausaji turned doc….he must have faced d wrath of raizada…would love to see his predicament for giving in to Sankadevi's nautanki….poor soul…yesterday was a bad day for him.

Did you all notice how d rowdy raizada's expression and his way of action has changed….he comes back..corners Khushi in frnt of buaji but doesn't grabb her and attack her…reserves that for a closed door meeting..again sadda haq…keep on repeating and prove it again and again,,,we r not complaining at all...khushi will understand….she will... your love will make her understand…d amount of pain and humiliation she has gone thru…she bore it all with d smiling face though her heart bled.

I can kind of visualise d day she admits her love for her husband in frnt of Arnav…d way she would break down…d tears to wash all d horrors, all bad memories, all pain to start a fresh.

Anjali preggie really???? Oho ya I forgot d snake is d father…then nothing is gonna go normal way…baby bumps and all.

Snake lurking arnd d corner? Bring it on Cvs…drama needed…antagonist needed. Remember TRPs…

Mami : now u r again suspicious? Ok good for everyone…pls be useful as Mano Bond and stop eyeing d award for Favourite Dushman.😆😆

Epic dialogue: Sasuma aap ka koi boyfriend hai kya?

Epic Scene:

As I have already discussed in omoraboti's post, me too have a strong feeling for d past revisiting with all dreferences as:
  1. yeh sab Damadjiki galti hai( which damad)
  2. Agra revisit in 3 months
  3. d story which Khushi cooked up to d Doc

lets see what happens…not into predictions…actually don't have time…still recovering frm daily raizada doses..too much SOSHAN of ours…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

a special mention of Abha Parmar👏👏….you r too good…adding d extra spice to these khatta meetha couple called ARHI.

Oops such a big post…never thought of writing one today..

BS yeh tumne mujhe kya kar diya….⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love you too SI but bhavna'o ko samjho.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Interesting take on the wedding date .. i wont be surprised if that is where we are heading. When exactly is Raksha Bandhan??

I dont think I do justice with my comments fr some write ups so I am thinking of dedicating one comment per write up I read...first one is fr main thread...hope you read this priya...😊
Priya, that was again a fabulous revisit to heart and soul of khushi's character so for that 👏 there are very less instances when I view the episode from her POV..blame my biasness..I cant look beyond certain Mr. Right..but you made me feel fr her character more..so thanks...and agreed with you on certain points about people bashing ,wanted to add to that...so can be bit long rant here -warning ...Well this is certainly not the first show I am watching on Telly but somewhere it touched my heart like no show before and this is what I am saying after watching lemme think arnd 30-40 of telly shows...yes and with this show too I joined this forum to learn more about it and to chat with people who share same love for it... these characters seems so real to me that I forget sometimes that they are not real but a fiction..I too try to judge them on basis of right and wrong ..but when I criticise ,I do it a lot too..but that is bcoz this show has become one of my passion now...I think about it 24x7..i have issues with it but I cant leave it as once JWMRK did write in her posts.. we all are too involved now..😆 so what to do when you have show becoming your obsession..and you see show's fall in term of TRPs and sumtimes in execution..you react to it..well reaction is different from different people and sometimes it is too extreme too and make us think that if we are in disagreement with so many things..why the hell then we are watching.. why cant we follow certain Mr. Twitter's advice to use the remote instead..well for that reason only I come to this space ..so that i get more reasons to watch it everyday.. I want to see those very actors that made me fall in love with this show in the start...want to experience the magic of the directors, writers and musicians that manage to create certain moments that I want to cherish as my own..thus I am still watching..
Have a nice day...
Thanks fr this space and Take care

Loved loved loved the take on Tooheys - the ASR or right now riding on the heat wave - Khushi bashers...a certain someone whom we discussed on 1.7 rides top on the list !!!
Olympics begin girl...lets see if our Champ Singh Raizada too how beats the hurdles and wins his "gold medal" back...😊

Girl, heat wave ke liye California bhej do...the flip-floppers who turn on ASR like he's a piece of meat on a freakin' bbq need to get it at some point! Khushi bashers will turn, too...You see us women fail to sometimes understand our own kind...the biggest paradox of nature...go figure...linearity gaya bhaad main! 😆I am generally a *ahem* "mild-mannered" Virgo...All embracing, all loving, but I was ticked off today...And I told you guys, I was not going to take it lying down! 😈 Was going to go more snarky, but then remembered the space!😆🤣

Wow, wow, wow! Olympic fever on the horizon...the heats for the hurdles already in preparation...Our Olympian is the favorite by a LONG shot!! As the Nike commercial in Time Square says "Bring it on WORLD!" Oh, yeah, he's ready for all the Tooheys and their "International Love."😆

BTW, STOP being modest.😳..Apne hi space mein kaise chalega, baba?!😆
