Is there no quality control in IPK

Fine.. the cvs want to introduce whatever tracks they deem fit... logic goes to hell, loopholes in the story are never closed, characterization oscillates, etc, etc.. FINE: your baby CVs, write it the way you want to and yes if we want to see what you dish out, it is on our own heads

BUT

Is there no one to see/ensure that actors at least look like the characters they are supposed to portray. Whatever happened to quality control. Is it limited to fairy lights around the sets or producing ladoo dabbas? What happened to making sure your actors LOOK good on screen? Ideally they should be doing this themselves but if they are reluctant for whatever reason, guide them bhai, behen, Gul, director or whoever. Some part of our enjoyment is also linked to seeing them look good and in tune with the character.

Aakash: Suddenly Aakash has a beard... he used to be the clean/sweet guy who even wore jackets all the time in the first few episodes. What happened? Everyone in this serial has decided to support a stubble or what.. will it be NK next?

Shyam: same stubble, long hair... Grrr

ASR: I don't even want to go there. This character used to look suave... now he looks dirty... all the time. He wears the same bloody brown shirt 24/7. His stubble on most days is a beard, his shoes never change, his hair are awry all the time.
GOSH what happened... can't you guys get your actors to look like their characters and not like themselves.. don't care if your actor hates getting a haircut... but this character's look demands it... its part of his job. Manage his stubble. It changes from scene 1 to scene 2 and it looks really bad that in the middle of a dialogue he has mild stubble which alternates with a heavy one. Please hire a continuity assistant.

Khushi: Oh bhagwan... why is she wearing these monstrous tents aka anarkalis...? Why this uniform? Before marriage, short kurta, after marriage anarkalis? Can she mix her wardrobe please? And can she tie her hair once in a while... Why cant she be given a slightly different hair style...Mix it up: open hair, ponytail, plait. And please do something about her clothes.

I feel that it is important to keep this aspect in mind too and no one, I repeat no one in this serial is bother about the overall finished product it seems.

Please I am not bashing the actors or anything... but seriously this just shows a lack of dedication. This is "Kuch Bhi Chalta Hai" attitude.

I totally agree with you... Presentation has gone down the drain since long in this show... ASR , Khushi , Shyam , Akash everyone displayed in out of character clothes and make up... Only Anjali and Mamiji have really lived upto their character wrt looks in this show from the start... Director doesn't feel the necessity of maintaining show's standards... ASR started in a suit in chopper and where has he landed now 😕

Agree with you 10000%...please don't take us for granted...the PH is lucky that they have such goodlooking lead then why are they ignoring this fact..really hard to fathom!!

sory i wud disagree becoz ...u asked for change in khushi's hairstyle she was once evrytime had plaited hair and we guys compliained abt it soo aftr marriage they changed it ..now give thm sometime ...and asr he used to be in such looks before only diffrnce is he is not having haircut ...and akash rite now he is like angry devdas thts wat theyr trying to give

Agree. ASR wears the brown shirt for week's end and Khushi in the same atrocious outfit for week's end. Se didn't even change after ASR threw coffee on her.🤔 What's up with that? And ASR has no attitude whatsoever.
