When the Antihero falls in love ..[Title track]

Always loved the main IPKKND title track BUT whenever I've listened to it before, I've always wondered how it actually fits ..

• a.) Arnav and Khushi's relationship has always been intense with the love/hate extremes ' and this song just seemed too cheery, happy-go-lucky, corny and overtly romantic to fit.
• b.) It did not suit ASR one bit ' for me it was difficult to put the two together 'this awfully romantic, love dovey tune + lyrics with the Arnav Singh Raizada on screen: the shrewd, aloof, distant business tycoon, who scoffed at the idea of love. "What crap!" ' Even after Teri Meri and the romantic moments which followed during PayAsh's wedding, it was difficult to see Arnav ever transforming into a man completely taken and consumed in love. I've always thought he'd lose his edge and his detached confidence would diminish. I mean he has always been a brilliant antihero for a reason and not the all-time romantic hero.

He has loved Khushi but he has always withheld and repressed that part of him (except since the kidnapping) because of his own stubborn ego, denial, flimsy misunderstandings but today was brilliant in the way it conveyed how far he has come and changed. Complete acceptance.

A year back, imagining ASR lying next to Khushi in their bed and gazing at her sleeping form would have simply seemed weird and strange. But tonight, that moment marked how he's changed from that all denying character he once was to the all accepting character he is right now '

Finally, the lyrics of the title track make sense. Good choice of background tune!

ASR's fallen in love hard and he's a full-on romantic about it behind closed door and it actually made sense.
So well done to the 4Lions team👏

The thing that I love the most is they haven't destroyed those initial antiheroic, aloof qualities of ASR to do this, which is impressive instead they've shown the gradual change.
- For me this is what the show is about more then Didi Ki Saut.

For example, if in their bedroom he is like that.
Then in front of the rest of the word, when NK threatens to reveal all he coolly commands him to "Stop." Essence of ASR intact.

So overall, love this episode and the outright change in Arnav.
Balance restored between the Anjali-Arnav vs. Arnav and Khushi scale.

so true and it is so entertaining to see ASR taking over Arnav so many times and then ASR controlling himself to get back to being Khushi's Arnavji..love how he's balancing between his sister and his wife coz now he knws he cant let his wife go at any cost..he just does not want to let her go and for that he'll even impress his di if he has to "us bina meri saansein ruk jaati hai, i love u DI" lol...the fact that he's buttering anji for khushi..i love that all..lovely potrayal mr barun sobti👏

This part, agreed. It was written in that sly smirk/smile of satisfaction when Khushi beams at the fact Anjali is finally speaking to her with some normalcy!

What that says about Anjali is debatable.

I found Arnav talking to Khushi while she was asleep totally ASRish because he has not reached the stage where he can speak his heart out also if he does that then the show will end 😆


I loved all the butties happening in one episode. This show is of extremes. They can have a one day sangeet function stretched to 12 days and they can make months of cutty into butty in a single episode that too in the span of 15 minutes 😆

totally agree. you know what, i watched the 2nd episode of IPKKND yesterday and was listening to the titletrack today and was thinking,"this doesn't fit ASR". but arnav, the cute, innocent boy, yes. and today was a beautiful revelation of that. that asr and arnav can coexist :)

So it just aint me 😊..who wondered on this progression😆...cvs have managed to keep the essence of ASR...and bring the Arnav out of him quite well...initially we alwys saw that "arnav" peek out when he was with anjali...and he said it then at the temple...that he is ASR for the world and not for her...she was the only one he trusted to be himself...and after all arnav and khushi have been through...he found the one other person...with whom he could go the distance be himself...trust his heart and be who he was from the inside...

So true Zehra, inconsistency is the other name for IPKKND.
Months of dragging can come to 15 minutes to chaotic story movement!

Btw - ASR is wearing brown (which I love) but has he no other clothes anymore!?!😆

I will be seriously bashed if I say this but that brown ensemble reminds me of khatmal (bedbug)
