IP REDUX; TRanquil Sea 3rd Thread - Page 8

Hi friends, today I really wanted to share my IPK story with you all. My lovely and very wise mother suggested this serial to me one day when we were talking over the phone. She said you might like it because it's different than certain other serials on telly. One fine day I was bored at home and decided to check it out on YouTube (God bless YT). I saw a Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, I saw those eyes and my first reaction was "I'm in trouble". Slowly and steadily (OK it was actually more of a Hook, Line and Sinker) got addicted to this wonderful serial. Then one day it was sometime in March I think, we saw Arnav frantically searching for Khushi and finally finding her at the temple, acknowledging in front of everyone with full conviction that she is my wife and carrying her back to the car from the temple. The thought that came to my mind after watching that scene was this is Khushi's proper Vidaai from her asli Maika. I really wanted to talk with someone about this view but there was no one. My husband in his infinite wisdom refuses to come near any Indian TV serial. For him the epitome of Indian serials was the Ramayan and Mahabharat days when he was young. But I digress here. I googled IPKKND and out popped this page in India Forum. To say I was amazed will be an understatement. This is my first hindi tv serial and never in my wildest dreams have I thought that there were so many people from all over the world gushing, criticizing, complaining, loving this serial. Then this post named "The Gordian Knot" (still remember the name) perked up my spidey sense. I opened that post and read Tant and Dood's posts. Reading Tant, as I always say was like poetry in motion and Doods was logic, reason and a great analytical mind. And I found my idle thought was explained so beautifully by so many people. We all know IPK went through a very rough phase after that and may I say it was stretched beyond it's elasticity limit. I am not a very patient person and I can move on very quickly. It was only because of this place that I stuck to this show. This place is what I call my online sanctuary where I can come and rant, vent, sometimes argue or most of the times see the proper message of the episodes. So girls Thank You so much from the bottom of my heart for always keeping my hopes up because frankly speaking without you all my journey with IPK would never be this much fun and heartfelt.
