OS: Best B'day Gift !
Kushi slowly climbed up the stairs towards their room smiling dreamily,remembering their moments together at the pool side.She couldn't stop recollecting every word and every touch.
After their fight earlier followed by a heartfelt confession and promise not to leave each other,Kushi overcome by shyness left the room quickly making the excuse of helping her jiji in preparing dinner.That was few hours ago.Throughout dinner she felt his gaze on her but shy overtook her and she avoided looking at his face. Post dinner she stayed back to help her jiji in clearing the table.
Now its almost midnight.She blushed remembering the way arnav held her earlier and said that he will make her Mrs.Arnav Singh Raizada forever.As she neared their room she felt both excited and nervous not knowing what to expect.Taking a deep breath she opened the door.The moment she opened the door she heard a musical noise above her head making her jump.
The room was in total darkness except for a faint light illuminated by the moon at the poolside.Nervously she searched for the light switch and switched it on,lifting her head immediately to investigate the noise she heard when she opened the door.She gasped in surprise at the trinket hanging above.The same ones she had hanged above the door few months ago, just to annoy her arnavji.
A smile spread across her face as she looked around the room.All of her stars are hanging above the bed along with little fairy lights.She looked at the bed which had a big red bedspread over it.She smiled remembering the day she changed his room, She had even separated one side of the bed with a pink bed spread and another side with brown.When an angry arnav asked her what she is doing she had coolly explained how during the 6 month contract marriage half bed,half bathroom and half wardrobe will be hers too.She will never forget the look he gave her that time.
Smiling,she then glanced at the cupboard to find all her clothes,bags,shoes all neatly arranged side by side alongside his.She lovingly touched one of his shirts with a soft smile on her face.
Suddenly sensing him she turned around.Sure enough he was standing there looking at her with a smirk.He strode across to her and pulled her into his arms.Looking lovingly at her he said"Khushi maine yeh kamre ko phir se hamara bana diya.Haan par thoda sa change karna pada"she looked at him confused.Smirking he said"That bed no longer needs to be separated by ur side and mine with separate bedspreads.Its is now wholly ours."She smiled shyly looking down.He smirked again and lifted her face and kissed her softly on the forehead.Khushi shyly hugged him.
After few moments Kushi looked up frowning.Arnav questioned her with his eyes."Arnavji kya main aapse ek baath poochoon?" "Haan khushi poocho".She asking him with a small pout "you again changed everything the way i liked it but where is my salmanji's thasvir?Usse aap deevar pe kyun nahi lagaya?" He held her face in his hands and smirking he said"kyun ki Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada, mein nahi chahtha ki iss kamre mein tum aur mere alawa kissi aur rahe.Aaj se sirf tum aur mein".She blushed again hugging him.
They both stayed like that for sometime content in being in each others arms.When the clock struck 12.Arnav slowly moved away from Khushi and turned her around.He removed a scarf from his pocket and tied her eyes with it.
Kushi panicked and squeakily said "Arnavji???" "Shshhh kushi chup.Ab chup chaap mere saath chalo". "Par arnavji aap humme kahaan lekar jaa rahe hain"He slowly led her towards the pool "Khushi maine kaha na bilkul chup".
Once he reached the pool he switched on the lights and untied Kushi's blindfold.Kushi opened her eyes and gasped at the sight before her.Her mouth wide open.The poolside is decorated by tiny lights which shed a glow to the pool reflecting the lights.He took her by the hand and led her to the recliner in the pool side and made her sit.
He smiled at her "Happy Birthday Khushi"Khushi gasped again in surprise.In all the commotion she had forgotton its her B'day.He knelt next to her.Khushi opened her eyes wide and said "Arnavji yeh aap kya kar rahe hain"He gently held her hands in his and softly said "something I should have done very long time ago"Khushi looked up at him confused.
"Khushi pls let me speak today.I know I have hurt you and gave you unimaginable pain..and through it all you have always walked around with a smile hiding everything.I made a horrible sin by suspecting you and marrying you by force when I clearly know deep down in my soul that you might never do such things.But I dint listen to my heart and instead listened to my mind.I forcefully married you.Robbing you of all your happiness and destroying your dreams along the way.Khushi am really sorry for everything.I would like to start again if given the choice.I would like to turn around the clock."
Khushi looked on at arnav never once leaving his gaze.She was deeply captivated with his voice and everything else he was saying to her.He continued "Khushi before you came into my life I never believed in love except for the love for my di.I dint know what love is.You made me believe in things I never would have imagined possible.You made be believe that parents have become stars after they passed away,watching us from above."Khushi smiled tears brimming in her eyes.
Arnav looked up at the stars and then at her.Love shining in his eyes and asked "Khushi am asking this to you after taking permission from our parents and with their blessings."Khushi looked at him confused again.He smiled gently and asked "Khushi,Will you marry me again?I know am not perfect and I get angry easily and yell a lot.I cannot guarantee that i will be able to control my anger all the time.sometimes I don't have control over it myself & get blinded by it."He said sheepishly.
Khushi smiled with tearful eyes.He continued "But Khushi I promise I will always trust you and cherish you the way you deserve to be cherished"He again held her face in his hands and asked huskily "Khushi I love you more than my life.Will you pls marry me again?this time with all rasams and saath pheras.I want to make you wife in front of the whole world and give you the proper right as my wife."
Kushi's heart swelled with happiness and joy.She smiled nodding yes happily.His face broke into a big smile "Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada I love you! "He hugged her pulling Kushi closer.Suddenly he pulled back and said sheepishly"Khushi am sorry I dint bring any gift for you"Kushi felt as if she will burst with joy.She took his face in her hands and lovingly said "Arnavji you have given me the biggest gift of all.Your love.I don't need anything else.This is the best b'day gift ive ever received."Arnav smiled at her and gently lifted her chin up and sealed her lips with his.
