So, all my excitement flew out the window after watching today's episode. I am not saying I am disappointed. No...not at all. The episode was fantastic. But there was nothing 'MAHA' about it. I expected something bigger.
Anyways...moving onto my topic. Let me make this clear before I start. I am simply stating my opinion here. Anybody is free to comment, disagree or agree with me.
So my question is...who is the villain here? Is it Shyam? Hell yeah!
But lets take a closer look. Who is the main villain? It is Anjali. Yep. You heard me right. It is the great Anjali. Lets see the truth here. No matter how lovey dovey things get...Anjali is always going to be this invisible wall between Arnav and Khushi. You can't feel it, you can't see it but it exists. Arnav inadvertently strengthens this wall which makes it all the more harder to break it.
I agree that Anjali has suffered immense trauma along Arnav right from the beginning. She is emotionally damaged and weak. She lives in her bubble and doesn't want to get out of it which is why Arnav has to be there all the time, forget everything else and pick up the pieces of her broken heart because she can't do it herself. The truth is Khushi has suffered a thousand times more than Anjali has. She has been used, mentally tortured, emotionally blackmailed, forced, insulted and hurt over and over again. Yet she stands strong and manages to smile. What does she get for that? Nothing. When it is Anjali who is to be blamed equally for not possessing the gumption to catch her husband's dirty character. What does she get for that? Everyone's sympathy. She becomes the poor one while Khushi remains the sacrificial lamb. While Chottey wipes his Di's precious tears, Arnav blames Khushi, the girl who saved his bloody life while putting her's at risk, for entering his life and invading his Di's false happiness and destroying their ostensibly 'perfect' life. Let me ask you something. Would Anjali do what Khushi did to save Arnav from the kidnappers if she knew that Arnav has been kidnapped? NO. She wouldn't. Instead she would sit and cry on her pathetic husband's shoulder who would be constantly twitching and smirking while the family members would gather around her and...well...cry...what else? Aakash is a good for nothing Mama's boy who doesn't have the bloody guts to stand up for his wife. Damn! I can pull his heart out of his chest! He exasperates me to that freakin' extent!đĄ
OK...I am digressing from the topic now. đ
Anjali's tears make Arnav's vision blurry and that leads him into doing things he shouldn't. Like hurting Khushi for absolutely no valid reason. As much as I love Anjali, a part of me hates her for being so self-destructive and most importantly destroying her brother's life. She only believes what she wants to believe. She is the Blanche DuBois of IPKKND...hehe...
I pity Arnav. He is blindfolded by his sister and he lets her lead. It is high time he stops being just Di's Chottey and starts being Khushi's Arnav ji. He already owes her alot.
And lastly, I really hope they bring out Anjali as a stronger character in the future. Or she stays the villain for me.
Tell me what you think. Don't hesitate to disagree. đ
