In principle, I agree with what you have written. It is very difficult for me to even listen to any apology from Arnav, let alone watch a passionate rain sequence after what happened yesterday. Infact, ever since the Diwali episode, I have been feeling a little put down with Arnav's character sketch. He has hardly done much to rectify what he did that day.

I am going to answer the question you have raised a different way because that seems the only (only!) explanation for the way things are going.

I think the CVs want us to realize the bitter pill that life is.

...while a person may be influenced by circumstances and people, a person cannot change (We can never straighten a dog's tail). So I guess they want us to stop expecting that change.
...some people never deserve their life partners and that is how it will always be
...people like Khushi who think, speak and act from the heart need to get accustomed to the raw deal that they will always get.

Overall, life is imperfect...life sucks...just go with it. Stop expecting ideals of the romantic era to materialize in the iron age.

God knows what goes on in CV's mind, obviously they do not expect us viewers to retaliate back with our views on issues like yesterday, maybe they think they can sell anything and the viewers will digest it? Words they used yesterday were disgusting. I wish there was a way to inform them, this is just not done.Redumption track or no, it's n absolute no, no, to use language like that.

I couldn't enjoy the epi today as I'am still seething from anger being a women and to see a women being treated like that😡 arrgh.How can one watch such torture on TV?

RIma just watch it for the sake of watching it if you want to..I have stopped trying to find any logic behind it...but still I watch it, sometimes even much to my own disappointment and to the degree of my husband's annoyance...
