The problem is you guys are not realising Khushi's characterisation in the show .. didnt you hear what she said.. she was leaving arnav because she couldnt see arnav in pain anymore.. she was more worried about ASR than herself.. she said 'yeh mat samjhiye ki hum gusse mein jaa rahe hai' it is a complete different angle you are looking at..she is not expecting him to woo her she is not angry at him.. she is not leaving out of vengence.. .. and it would be out of character if khushi thinks only about herself and what arnav did to her at this juncture.. she will look selfish.. her characterisation is such that she is self sacrificing.. the Cv's cannot forcefully put a full blown redemption track just because u ppl want it.. there should be some logic behind it.. it should gel with the story line.. so plz sit back and enjoy the show dont try to tell the CV's how to execute it because at this point of time i think they are fabulously handling all the equations and giving us clean crisp non dragging episodes...

And as far as ASR's character goes he very much realises what he has done and is completely scared like a little boy of losing khushi.. but his charecterisation is such that he is unable to open up easily in front of anybody.. he has changed a lot in this one year.. one year back he was unable to even utter the word sorry but now he does it in a jiffy.. we all know ASr will never go down on his knees and become all mushy suddenly asking for forgiveness.. if he does that we as audience wont like it.. his character today is such a phenomenon because it has so many layers.. it is not ompletely black or white .. it is shades of grey .. and how it changes when the angel called khushi comes into his life..this is a gradual process and this is what a story is all about .. we as audience need to be patient..more so because it is a daily soap and not a 3 hr movie..

IMHO - its only because they don't know how to.

How to provide a proper ending to an amazing start.
How to show closure on any issue.
How to sooth the feathers they unruffle.

But part of the reason, I'm sorry to say, is US. Quite a large number of us DO lap up the hot romance over a logical story, repentance, separation, etc. Long as he shows up with tears in his eyes, says I love you over the phone, and says I'm sorry telepathically - we're alll good.

Same will happen again.

So, why don't we get a better track - more fulfilling and befitting the plight of this young 'wronged by ALL' girl? Because we don't demand it badly enough AND because they don't have a clue as to how they would go about creating such a track.

And if anyone says they HAVE created such moments and scenarios where proper climax and closure is shown - I'd say they were few and far in between.

You are right - the IF writers do a great job.
