Anjali: India has been making a steady growth but there needs to be more awareness for better healthcare access to mothers. Our government needs to provide enhanced healthcare facilities, especially to women in rural areas as this is where it is lacking the most. Even today we hear of dai ma's and women having babies at home and this can be very dangerous to both the mother and child. These practices need to be abolished and instead more nursing homes and experienced doctors should be made available.
