Today, I'd like to concentrate on Anjali and Shyam's characters only.
It is easier to perceive error than to find truth, for the former lies on the surface and is easily seen, while the latter lies in the depth, where few are willing to search for it.
Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe German poet, novelist and dramatist.
Anjali Manohar Jha – I felt the above quote applies much more to Anjali than anyone else. She's always given the impression of being fragile and breakable, but there's so much more depth to her than meets the eye; never under-estimate her. Did it shatter her to hear from mami that Shyam is ready to divorce her? Of course. Did she collapse or break apart? No, she picked herself up immediately and tells mamiji that she must be mistaken and calls her husband and Khushi ji to verify the facts. She is not ready to believe mamiji, the mother figure who has her well-being at her heart; so, it will be that much harder to convince her that Shyam is also the same person who tried to kill her dearest chote.
On hearing that Arnav was kidnapped and that too by Shyam, she felt her world collapsing before her. But, she still remains standing and continues to hear the arguments and counter-arguments between Khushi and Shyam. Is this the same fragile woman who'll break apart with the blow of a wind? No, she's not cowering away, unwilling to listen. Yes, she still believes her husband much more than in Khushi ji, but can anyone blame her? Isn't this what any married woman would do? Khushi and NK bhai are coming up with revelations to push her Knight in shining armor into more and more darkness. But, is there a shred of evidence to support their side of truth? None whatsoever. How would one feel in her shoes? Isn't it true that you'll start doubting Khushi's and even NK's statements?
When NK bhai says that the voice activated password for the pendrive is Iloveyoukhushi, imagine her state. Though she's still on her husband's side, a small seed of doubt has been planted, where there may have been none before. Until now she's been perceiving things only on the surface and believed her husband and his lies. But, the fabric of trust now has a small tear. When she hears her husband admit that he did agree to divorce her, the small tear did became a gaping hole. This is another major blow to her.
Will Anjali ever be willing to go in depth and reach the actual truth about shyam? Only time will tell.
Shyam Manohar Jha: All it takes is just one slip of the tongue for a seed of doubt to be planted. History has always shown that evil is allowed to reach its peak before it is destroyed completely. So, can Shyam's tricks and evil ways help him stay on top and be a winner? Of course not, we are talking about 'THE LAW OF THE NATURE' here and it's clear that "what goes up (reaches the peak) will come down."
Shyam's elation at outsmarting Khushi, NK and Payal is definitely making him overconfident. He's now absolutely sure that he'll win. This is when he'll start making mistakes and did he? Yes, the voice activated password has been heard by all family members. But, he covered it up really well using his sharp lawyer's brain. What he does not realize is that the family is already started to doubt him. Next, when Khushi is trying to prove how many problems Shyam has created raizada's and how much they've had to face because of him, the issues of divorce papers comes up. He initially denies signing divorce papers and asks why would he think of divorce at all; HIS BIG MISTAKE. What he doesn't know is that mami ji heard his response to Khushi's question and she's asking Shyam why he wants to divorce Anjali bitiya. No, it's not the innocent NK bhai or even Payal here and he can no longer demand evidence from mami ji, can he? There is his first major step to the downfall. He has no choice but to agree that he did agree to the divorce and had to sign the papers to put Khushi off and get her off his back. Can he manipulate his way out of this too by blaming Khushi once again? Let's wait and see.
Bahut Mazaa Aaya
To Abhaas, Utkarsha, Sanaya, Barun, Daljeet and Karan, you were fantastic today 👏👏👏
To the IPK team for continuing to give us these gripping episodes
If only
1) Payal would have spoken more instead of shutting up just because mother in law said so, koi baat nahin, we'll wait to hear from you today payal
2) If for nothing else, at least to help Arnav get out of that 'dirtiest vest on this earth', can you please move the story forward and let him take a shower (this was also the request from a much older family member of mine 😊)
3) If only Akash was given more dialogs than one liners here and there
