Of Truth and Myths...

The gale of truth rages with fury as facts after facts come crashing down...It overwhelms and stupefies everyone...Nanheji takes the mantle from Khushi and narrates his part of the truth...Taking his family members through the path they themselves went to uncover the ugly truth of Shyam. Shyam skillfully renders each blow futile...His lawyer brain fights for his defense with such force that the Raizadas find it hard to believe the reality even when one of their own shouts it at the top of his voice.Payal tries to speak for her sister but her voice is unheeded in the name of bias...

Ironically the entire RM clan is biased towards the myth created and fiercely upheld by Shyam and he successfully plays this to his advantage. He has skillfully destroyed or manipulated every evidence that could prove his black deeds. He gives a worthy fight with his wits until he commits the grave blunder... he casts aspersions on the character of Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada..

Interestingly I was reminded of the heated conversation Khushi and Arnav had on the bridge where our hero had done a similar act...The pious and righteous child of DM was give the worst blot to bear...Khushi had been broken that day with the accusation... her heart had bled in silence... which only her divine mother was privy too..she unleashed her wrath on ASR... the following day ASR was kidnapped and faced a life threatening situation...It spurred him to understand where he had erred... He learnt from his mistake and since then whenever he met or spoke to Khushi he has respected,cared,protected trusted and loved her unconditionally.

Today Shyam who professes his love for Khushi is walking down the same path...he will also be punished for his allegations... but his fate will be far worse. Arnav had committed a mistake unknowingly but Shyam's deed have been done purposefully with the intent of causing harm...

Anjali is shocked and helplessly watches her sand castle being broken by the allegations hurled against Shyam... she makes futile attempts to save it but is unable to stop the slippage from her fingers...Her little embers of fury towards Khushi found its way today when she said"hum aapki kissi bhi baat pe vishwass nahi hai"

Khushi is giving her agnipariksha...to be cleansed of the the highest dishonor a woman faces- the question mark on her character and morals. She has willingly undertaken the trial by fire for her love and trust in her husband who will not let any harm come to her.

The modern day Ramamyana in IPK plays with Khushi(personification of Sita) fighting her own battle of restoring her honour with her sister and trusted friend by her side. Her husband looks on from the sidelines...

Arnav Singh Raizada watches in silence as his wife tries hard to defeat the evil Ravan of the story-Shyam. Like a deft warrior he is preserving his energy as he watches his enemy's fight...He is awaiting to enter the arena at the opportune moment... when the tireless battle will weaken the enemy and force him to make the proverbial slip. Till then his able ardhangini wages the war with the arrows of truth but each arrow is deflected by the manipulation of the truth by Shyam. Very similar to the occurance when Ravan's head kept reappearing even after Ram kept slaying it...

Shyam like Ravan looks invincible but unknowingly he has committed the fatal mistake - he maligns the moral values of a devoted wife giving ASR the much needed chink in his armour ...

Everyone at RM has had a glimpse of Khushi's devotion to her husband at different occasions so the allegations by Shyam will not be believed willingly. Manorama mentions the eavesdropping incident and blames Khushi and Shyam equally...a change from the fact when she questioned Khushi's argument about Shyam's hand in the kidnapping. Bhibishan(Mami) has done the job... she has brought out in the open Shyam's weakness for Khushi...

Shyam is the culprit of Khushi and Anjali... ASR has given Khushi the opportunity to strike the first blow... He knows she is strong,smart and up for the fight and not blinded by Shyam like his sister. ASR will be instrumental in restoring her honour and dignity. It is his repentance of undoing the ignominious fate his wife suffered due to his action.

The battle rages in furor for myths to be shattered and the truth to emerge and stand tall.
