Amidst all this hullabaloo is ASR who doesn't say a word, except for trying to calm down a hysterical Anjali. The man over whom all the whole fuss is about stands aloof from the bullets being shot from all directions. Words are being thrown around, accusations, defending volleys, anger, fury, doubts - every actions carry these elements and somehow they all soar over him and center around the rest of the family members surrounding him.
It's almost like he's invisible, untouched by all that is happening, enclosed from the circus whose main theme is - him! ASR is very much like a ring-master in the shadows - watching the clowns, jokers, lions, tigers and other assorted creatures prancing around dangerously as he holds the whip in his hand, ready to strike the negligent, over-confident, cornered, unruly, unaware creature when that creature shows his true colours and disrupts the theme of the circus.
In all this time, ASR retains a straight face for the others. The only time emotions reflect in his eyes are when he looks at Khushi - they convey their plan, their messages through their eyes - visual communication at its best!
