I have always maintained that it is not lust Shyam has for Khushi, and by now everyone knows that it certainly is not love that he holds for her. I have always said that Shyam has an 'Obsessive desire' for Khushi. I had explained in a previous post too, that an obsessive desire is like wanting a toy by all means. It's attractive and you want it to be yours and yours alone. You will do anything to get it, and if snatched away from you, you will try and ensure that no one else gets it.
Isn't this exactly how Shyam was today? He proved it by his line, "Hum jis cheez se pyaar karte hai Khushiji, agar who hume nahi mil sakti toh who kisi aur ko bhi milne nahi denge".
There are two factors that are included in the reason behind Shyam doing what he did and saying what he said:
One was: Being an obsessed person, he would really be unable to stand it if his desire belonged to someone else. Khushi is his, and his alone, If he can't have her, then the selfish greedy man that he is will not let her be anyone else's too.
CV's - May I please hug you for making Khushi tell Shyam why she could stoop to such low levels?? I'm glad you made that message clear to the audience that Khushi did all out of love for her love/husband Arnav!! Love you guys for giving us such nice episodes!! Keep it simple!
