To an extent, yes, you are right. As much as I love Barun, ASR is not the same for me anymore. What I am seeing now is the Barunized version of ASR.

And I know why you are feeling like this. It's not because of his acting, rather it is his looks. ASR was defined by the gelled hair look. Crisp and clean.

I'm sure once he is back to his original look, you will find that charm return back again. And I think once the original scene is telecasted, it will be different and more intense than the promo.

IMO, i think his smirk in yesterday's epi had charm written all over it. But I am a resident 'drooler', so you are free to disregard my opinion as I am sure you have.

I hope Barun sees your post. He appreciates criticism since it makes him work harder. So far, all the criticism has gotten him to work hard enough to get awards, so it's all good. Gold awards right around the corner, maybe you just inspired him.

True, the intensity was missing on his side ... he did not hold Khushi tight enuff to show his desperation... the desperation we saw in the ambulance scene when he bought bangle fir Khushi was spendide. BUT what we saw was JUST the PROMO. The actual scene will be MUCH MUCH MUCH better i am sure. ...but i do understand your point i felt the same. I haven't been seeing the epi for a while now so i cannot comment on the episodes but as for the promo u have a point.
