What Happened Till Now The Game is Afoot ASR's Armory The Depth of Arnav's Bond with Khushi One Small Concern To Do List for ASR The Fourth Angle: Anjali - Khushi's Fix: Updated Section
Hope you enjoy!
What Happened Till Now
1. Game: Phase 1 Ends.
Shyam won and lost it all.
Arnav lost and won it all.
Khushi has been the deciding factor in who wins and who loses.
Actually, this decision was made long back. It was in Khushi's hands and she'd made this decision long back. I'd written a note back in April (during Heer-Ranjha sequence was on) The Judgment of Khushi, about the fact that Khushi had decided between Arnav and Shyam pretty long back.
2. Now, that things are out in the open between Arnav, Khushi, and Shyam:
1. Arnav knows he and Khushi are in love. He trusts her through knowing her ' without proofs. This change had come in before he got kidnapped, and separation from Khushi has only strengthened it.
2. Khushi knows that Arnav loves her and trusts her. She knows Arnav would rather let himself be captured than let any harm come to her.
3. Shyam thought he was gaining all of Arnav's money and his wife too, but now he knows that Khushi is committed to Arnav.
The time is perfect to let things out in the open for others to see. And now, others do. More people are becoming aware that things that looked so smooth on the surface are such a jumble of twists underneath.
4. Arnav actually accepted Khushi as a partner, when he sent her the coded note and when he figured out that she'd come outside, he took immediate action to be with her. He knows she's been constantly working to find him and free him.
5. Ah! Shyam ain't giving up that easy on anything...! He's a coward, but that doesn't mean he leaves the game unattended. He often plays discreetly, blaming someone else, hiding behind someone ... and right now, a girl has stepped on the snake's tail with her high heeled shoes.. and he's jumping about in pain... he's bound to bite someone!! Let's see!
The Game is Afoot
The twist to undo all twists is here. The black and white threads are so twisted now that white looks black and black looks white. There is no telling where one begins and the other end. Unless someone lets loose one of the ends of the threads, unraveling is impossible. Once someone lets the ends loose, unraveling might be painful and may come by only a few twists at a time.
The Chess Game is being set up. The whites and the blacks are dividing.
The White King ASR has an army that looks insignificant: Khushi, Payal, and GH (possibly NK, if his role carries on - this chap reminded me of Hanuman in the Ramayan; being a link between the separated ram and sita).
The Black King Shyam has an army that looks powerful and righteous: Nani Ji, Anjali, Mami Jaan, and Akash (there is no telling yet how Mama Ji might play or if he or Mami Jaan is the Vibhishan, ghar ka bhedi who causes the destruction of Lanka). Whether Shyam plays directly or discreetly, is yet to be seen.
The White Queen or Vizier is Khushi; ASR's minister.
Who is the Black Queen/Vizier? Or is there even one? The Vizier is someone he could trust: Shyam trusts no one. Especially now that Khushi has betrayed him, he is bound to be extra careful.
Is the Dove so enveloped in darkness that she becomes one with it? That is hard to believe as yet. The Dove's protector is the White King.
Division
A division is coming, yes! But how can this Chess Game go on if White King stands by his Queen?
Can he leave his domain with his Queen and literally stand against the Blacks? Does ASR leave his family and live with Khushi? Would he actually leave his family in the hands of the enemy: Shyam? Wouldn't that mean he is getting his freedom and letting his family be captive?
As of now, it doesn't look like yet that there may be a separation; as of now it does not seem logical - though even if there is, it can't be long. Arnav-Khushi have never been separated long. Besides, one separation has already happened (kidnap) and coming to a close now.
Arnav did hurt Khushi himself to save her from being hurt by others, though Khushi understood it and no harm came to their relationship - in fact it was strengthened: So even if this happens, though they're both hurt - it is eventually good. They found their hearts unified even though apart; they found their goal unified; they acknowledged that they belong together.
RM & GH
Actually, these two are not two sides; they are one side. The illusion of division is there only because of widespread and deep-rooted lies (that's why I haven't used 'vs.', but '&').
As the lies are stamped out, the sides will merge as one.
1. Arnav/ASR: If he trusts Khushi, then the GH story would come out, and Arnav would decide to stand with them.
2. Khushi: She knows Arnav is with her, yet she may have to keep her own fight for deliverance aside till Arnav deals with Shyam and sorts out Anjali's life.
She has already pulled herself back from wanting to prove herself innocent for the sake of saving Arnav's life.
3. Nani Ji: She believes in doing the right thing; however, in the light of half truths and massive lies, decision to do the right thing may not always bring the right result. She also believes Shyam blindly, just like Anjali.
4. Anjali: She is the key to moving RM in favor of or against Khushi.
5. Mami Jaan & Mama Ji: Mami Jaan is the only one with brains in RM. When Anjali, Nani, and Akash go into an emotional coma, Mami Jaan may be the only one relative by their side to work as an attendant - keeping eyes peeled for Creepwa. If she does not trust Khushi, she would not trust Shyam either, not for very long in any case.
She may be one of the first one to come around to Arnav, unless Mama Ji makes it first. He is a cool mind.
6. Bua Ji & Garima: They are pretty attached to Arnav. Once the truth is out, they may stand by Arnav whole-heartedly. Bua Ji also knows of Shyam's obsession with Khushi.
7. Shashi: Might prove to be the trump card on the White King's side.
8. Payal: She may attempt to protect Khushi but may end up losing Akash's support in the bargain. Hope she becomes a friend to Arnav.
9. Akash: Just as Arnav missed Khushi's antics when she went quiet ' the same ones that drove him mad when she was doing it, Akash may also understand Payal's silly attempts to get Akash's attention. Hope he comes to his senses soon and learn to trust his wife.
10. Shyam: How can we forget him? I'd like to see if he plays directly or discreetly... yet to be seen. He is cunning, but a coward. Let's see.
Look Out!
In short, things to look out for in the coming weeks - during and following cross-over:
1. Some possible trouble with Arnav-Khushi - can't be too long, should be over soon. Even if there is a separation, it doesn't look bad, and cannot be very long.
2. Payal may be separated from RM or Akash - literally or symbolically
3. Mami Jaan for her brains and Mama Ji for being a sound head.
4. Arnav supporting Khushi and even GH and Payal - openly or discreetly.
5. RM sides with Shyam - including Akash (because Payal hid the truth, he is bound to feel something was fishy, hence hidden).
6. ASR & Khushi have seen the criminal side of Shyam - they need to discovering the murderous and 'mental' side of him as yet.
7. ASR vs. Shyam: Mind Game
ASR's Armory
Khushi has gathered quite a number of tools for ASR to work with.
1. Shyam's fake will: A soft copy is hopefully on NK's laptop/pen drive.
2. Divorce papers signed by Shyam.
3. A document signed by Shyam that keeps him having any right on Arnav's property.
4. A recording of Shyam declaring his love for Khushi: Khushi begins by saying she is alone and no one is with her. Shyam declares his love, but Khushi has remained non-committal in that conversation. She's simply said that she needs time to think of what Shyam's said, and Shyam has urged her to think about him and about them.
While Khushi may sound like she was involved, Shyam is sounding committed.
Some more help:
1. Shashi: for obvious reasons
2. Mama Ji: he is witness to Shyam's first attempt to kill Anjali by electrocution in the pool, and to the key/soap incident.
3. If even one of Shyam's murder attempts is disclosed, the dominoes may fall one by one: Ether in Anjali's perfume, Khushi's engagement ring, fake Will pasted under the crib, scorpion that everyone knows of, Anjali's accident, Arnav being kidnapped, beaten up blindfolded, and the attempt on his life too.
4. Shyam's many lies are pits he dug for himself.
The Depth of Arnav's Bond with Khushi
Arnav has started to accept the depth of his bond - he's acknowledged he's changed; that Khushi has changed him. Anjali once made Arnav aware that the depth of his love for Khushi is not known to even him.
Khushi has known this but as Arnav never accepted she could never accept it either. In the WIL of 2nd April 2012, I stated (to ASR): 'Arnav! The day you stop pretending, she'll start accepting.'
Arnav stopped pretending when he acknowledged that he was a changed person because of Khushi. Khushi has accepted full-fledged that she doesn't care anymore whatever happens, she just has to see him safe, even if he doesn't trust her.
Perhaps, Arnav first got seriously bothered about this unexplainable connection with Khushi when some goons pushed her around, and he very nearly killed them. He could not understand why he behaved that way. He could not get it why he had to see Khushi when he heard her father was in the hospital. He could not get it why he couldn't comfort her, though he wanted to so much... so much that he visited her again and comforted her.
Since then, he's has come a long way. He's changed because of her and for her - to the point that he now believes that his mom is a star in the sky, that he can hear Khushi even though distances separate them, he can hear her heartbeat-always. He now trusts her because he knows her. He has felt and acknowledged their oneness - not just under influence of bhang, but being very conscious.
Now if he needs to choose between Anjali and Khushi, Arnav is going to face a lot of agony. He cannot ignore or doubt Khushi for very long. He knows in his heart that Khushi is committed to him.
If Arnav chooses to stand with Anjali, the reasons may be purely emotional for Anjali and purely hatred for Shyam.
However, there is another side to Arnav Singh Raizada - he does not stand by wrong. He chooses to stand by what is right. If he knows it is right, he stands by it even if he has to suffer losses. If he knows it is wrong, then even if has to apologize, he does not stand by it anymore.
Arnav & Khushi have become a team even though they are apart. The mutual trust is mind-blowing. It is not simply about the telepathy, but the trust that has developed between them during the trials is very important.
Everything in Arnav's life: his family, his Di, his work, his responsibilities, and even his memories draw strength from him. He has been a care-giver; he rarely receives care from anyone. His family does love him, but they also accept that he is a loner. No one dare intrude his solitude. He has dictated certain terms, and they have accepted it.
Khushi is the only one who was not afraid of trespassing in his personal territory. Somehow, the moment she trespassed his territory, she became a part of his territory. He included her in. Perhaps, this is also why he fell for her. She broke through and insisted on staying put no matter how many times he pushed her out, shooed her out, locked his doors - she was always back.
His bond with Khushi is probably the only thing that gives him strength. He has found her to be there every time he has needed her. He has at times not even needed to speak, but she knew what he wanted. Knowing that she is there brings him power and strength within him. This will also carry him through.
One Small Concern
Somewhere around this time, we're edging closer to the 6-month time limit. What happens when the time is over? Or what are even the circumstances by then? Who believes what and who trusts whom? Does the contract get extended (indefinitely)?
Does the Arnav-Khushi marriage comes to an end? Probably...
To Do List for ASR
1. Anjali Di: to be freed of Shyam-mania
2. Getting Raizadas back together
3. Fixing Payal and Akash relationship
4. Getting himself back with Khushi
ASR has a tall order!!
The Fourth Angle: Anjali
She has always been the person behind Arnav-Khushi union, in some way or the other, though she has not known it. However, as the tide turns, Anjali is facing some challenges that she's never thought she'd have to face.
What changes this might bring in her is hard to tell as of now? She loves Arnav too much, but she also loves Shyam. If Arnav might have to choose, so would Anjali.
Anjali vs. Arnav
Anjali knows the depth of Arnav's love for Khushi is more than Arnav knows. She has been made to witness how much Arnav is in love and how deeply, emotionally involved he is with her.
Anjali has always wanted Arnav to find that one person who he would fall in love with and that this person would be so much a part of his life that Arnav would never let her go. She thought she saw it in Khushi.
To then find out that the woman Arnav loves is cheating on him, would be devastating for Anjali. She'd be very aware of Arnav's agony. If she tries to hide her own pain from him, how long would that last? If she tells him everything, it'll break her further. It would be a hard decision for her - bearing Chhote's pain or even seeing him in pain isn't something Anjali can handle well.
Anjali vs. Khushi
Anjali has always liked and appreciated Khushi. She trusted Khushi as well. She has supported Khushi when she was missing her parents and when Arnav would insult her. She was one of the first people to turn towards her after Arnav married her.
When Anjali saw how Arnav loved Khushi and how Khushi cared for Arnav, she probably thought her prayer was answered. Now, it seems that this same person is involved with her own husband.
Not only is Anjali trust about to be eroded for Khushi w.r.t Shyam, but Khushi is also the person who is causing a great pain to her Chhote, for whom Anjali has been like a mother. Anjali may not just be devastated, but soon her grief may give place to anger, disgust, and hatred.
This relationship can only be healed once Arnav clears up Khushi's name and Anjali knows for a fact that Khushi never meant any harm; that when Khushi promised Anjali that she would not let any harm come to her husband or her marriage, she really meant it; that Khushi not only actually gave up her right for being avenged, she also opened herself to further abuse from the same man; that even after Arnav married her, Khushi had no respite from Shyam's ugly advances.
Anjali vs. Shyam
Anjali is very soon going to remember the strange one-off-looking things:
Shyam offered to drop Khushi to GH soon after Arnav-Khushi wedding
Shyam and Khushi went to get medicine for Anjali, on her own request
Shyam suddenly knew that Khushi loved jalebis and made them when she was upset
Shyam wanted to put the color on Khushi on Holi
Shyam would ask about Khushi
Shyam getting a bath in Arnav's room
Shyam going into Arnav's room, coming out of Arnav room, being found in Arnav's room on many occasions
And so on and so forth.
Though she refuses to believe upfront, and she may buy his lies, yet, until the truth is out Anjali cannot be free of her of her attachment for Shyam. She needs to come to a point where she'd believe that Shyam was always evil, he never loved her, he used her for Arnav's money, he would willingly give her up for another woman, and he'd even kill her if needed.
It's a bumpy flight for the little dove!

Updated Portion:
Khushi's Fix: 1st July 2012
So the phoenix plucked out the eyes of the dreaded basilisk and blinded it. However, the basilisk went mad with pain. He thrashed around in a bid to get back at its attacker.
Let's see!
The Upcoming Problem for Khushi: (Or one of them, in any case) There is nothing that links Shyam to Arnav's kidnapping directly.
There is no solid (or even liquid or gaseous) proof that Shyam orchestrated Arnav's kidnapping.
No Proof against Shyam the Kidnapper
1. Khushi is the only one that knows it. But she has no direct proof against Shyam. The only two proofs that stand are:
a. The Fake Will: Shyam has it in his possession.
b. Arnav's Passport/Boarding Pass: It was replaced in Shyam's briefcase to avoid any doubts arising in Shyam's mind by NK.
2. NK knows and trusts Khushi and he can attest to tha fact that Shyam messed with Khushi and that he had Shyam's passport and boarding pass - BUT he cannot state for a fact that Shyam was involved.
3. No one has seen Shyam at the kidnap site or with kidnappers. There are calls in Shyam's phone, but those can be deleted. No one knows kidnappers number. They always called at RM landline.
4. The tools that Khushi has can be used against Shyam, but not directly. Why? Because Shyam will refuse point blank.
a. The Recording? Khushi seems to be egging Shyam on. She is involved, even if not committed.
b. The fake Will? Is missing.
c. The divorce papers? Khushi got them signed.
d. The legal papers keeping Shyam off Arnav's property? Seems more like a conspiracy AGAINST Shyam ' than FOR Arnav.
5. Two Misdirected Missiles: Mami Jaan: an eye-witness. Payal: the way she presents the truth may increase/remove the confusion and let the situation go any way.
At the most Shyam can be accused of:
a. Attempting to rob Arnav of his wealth
b. Messing with Arnav's wife
But kidnapping and killing Arnav, no!
What may work for Khushi
1. 4d from the previous section: These papers that she got signed are actually something that crosses out the fake will
2. The tape that Khushi stole with Mami Jaan which shows Arnav getting kidnapped.
3. Arnav's experience with Khushi risking her life for Arnav, not once but multiple times.
4. NK is a living proof.
5. LIB#1: Khushi recognizes him, Arnav recognizes him, and this chap is the only living link between Arnav's kidnapping and Shyam.
But what gets it working?
However, all these proofs and witnesses need to be brought together. These are not all together. It needs effort to bring them together - and in some cases, it needs more than effort, it needs power and brains.
Well, the gen-set may be upset. The Screwdriver may be available. But does Khushi have the expertise to use the Screwdriver to fix the gen-set? Nope. She failed. Arnav used the same tool and fixed the gen-set. He only did it because he saw Khushi's earnest effort to help someone, and fail, and get embarrassed. In fact, he ended up fixing a lot of other stuff just to please Khushi.
In this case, Khushi has the tools, but she doesn't know how to use them. For her, these tools were meant to help someone else. Arnav may use these very tools to not just fix the situation, but also to clear Khushi's name.
But how? So why would Arnav do it when especially when it looks like Khushi was involved with Shyam in not only getting his wealth to Shyam but also getting sister's divorced? Arnav is bound to get confused. Arnav is bound to see the proofs and bother himself sick. Arnav needs someone or something to trigger his trust.
This phase cannot be very long. Why? Arnav is no longer a captive. ASR is back. ASR does not sit with hands bound. ASR breaks those bonds, removes obstacles, is an active participant in what is going on, is not simply someone who is impacted by what is going on but actually causes things to happen, fights even if he is blinded, does not let anyone stand in his way, and once he is decided, he is unstoppable.
The only fuel that can run this car is: Arnav's trust.
The moment confusion his is cleared, Arnav ... oh sorry! ASR would know what to do.
