So lets take ASR through this whole kidnapping thing.

He's taken at gun point at the airport. Then he's tied up, made to take his medication, and his food. He's had to call everyone at home and tell them he's in Scotland! (Really?! - the only fabric that's famous in Scotland are Harris tweeds! and they are THICK!!) Then he tells his wife, 'I love you' cause he probably thinks he will never speak to her again. Wonders! She finds him. They run away - a little nookie time and then nookie-interruptus! He's had to whack his wife on the head and hide her so they wouldnt find get to her. Sacrifices himself for his love. Ever watch that scene in slow-mo? How he scrunches up his face before he thwacks her?

Then comes the fighter. Now he knows he has something to live for, so blindfolded or not, he fights with them every single time there are a foot's length away. (Forget the symbolism - lets just take things at face value here). Now during his captivity, he hears the kidnappers talk about TWO women searching for him - especially the girl who 'haath dhoke peechey par gaya hai'. His telepathic connection tells him she's nearby. Remember - the goons do not know that he's listening. He has this truth before him. Khushi is looking for him - and no, Khushi is not in cahoots with them because they are worried about her finding him! They have already corroborated her truth!

And Khushi has a helper - someone who can be trusted with Arnav's missing status. (He'll figure that one out later, if he hasnt already).

Then, comes the sad beating up. He's beaten, chloroformed, thrashed, blindfolded, masked etc..AND moved to a different place. But he comes to know one more fact. There is a boss. And the boss is someone he knows. Its not random. Its personal - because the boss refuses to show his face to him. The boss is someone who stands to gain by holding him captive, yet cannot reveal who he is because, he knows that ASR would not leave him alive if he knew. (So does that mean that somewhere inside Shyam is still worried about what ASR might do if he finds out that Shyam is behind the whole sorry story?)

Then the kidnapper tells the boss on the phone - he's trying to run away every day! And they are getting tired of all this baby-sitting. Kidnappers have lives, too, you know. So here's your clue viewers - ASR has already been trying to get away. But he would be in weakened physical and mental state after that thrashing - so he isnt successful.

And then they start getting sloppy. The phone call convo in front of ASR gives him quite a few nuggets of information.

They are sending gifts to the Raizada house. So he pens a note to Khushi (come on, Khushi - open the note already and put us out of misery) that only she will decode. But in the meantime he has lots of time on his hands to think - and work out.

If he has been kept alive so long, then they will NOT kill him - because whatever the boss' reason, he cant afford to let ASR die. So the risk of being killed is less. See how he moves the gun away? He KNOWS they will not shoot him. Not in the head. Cause he knows they fear the boss.

If they are sending gifts to the Raizada house, then Khushi must have kept his kidnapping a secret. And if Khushi has kept it a secret, she must have kept it hidden for a reason.

If they are sending gifts to Raizada house - then the boss must be from inside the Raizada house because he knows that the Raizadas still think he is in Scotland! How else does he know what goes on in the Raizada house?

There is only one person in RH that fits the profile. I am pretty sure ASR has added 2 and 2 and come up with 4.

So ASR takes a very calculated risk. He is calling Shyam's bluff. And how! Welcome back, ASR!!
