Will you accept Shyam as a positive character ?

I was randomly browsing throught the forum and a thought came to mind...
I think Abbhas is a really good actor and I was wondering .. will he leave the show after his character is sent to jail ?! I honestly don't want him to leave but there is only a certain amount of time that one character can remain 'the villain' he has to either leave the show or his character has to turn positive.
But will we accept Shyam as positive ? Before everyone throws their chappals, I know he was wrong in marrying / betraying / and trying to kill Anjali etc but if he is truly sorry and is ready to accept Anjali as his wife ... Will it go well with the audience ?

Abhaas indeed is a great actor.
But Nope!

I will not accept Shyam as positive. I rather have someone else come in Anjali's life and have Shyam jailed but then again this is a tv show so they will turn him into a positive character.

If he goes to jail he will escape and comes back for revenge. It always happens. The writers comes up with ideas to keep the negative character active.
