The direct competitor for it is Balika Vadhu, and more so because there apparently after suffering a lot ( in the love dept) the heroine is falling for someone -- not M&B type of love and wooing but rather a mature love set in the background of ideals - where both the characters are supposed to be working for utopia for villages !!!!
I hope IPK stick to their basic foundations -- and spring back to show now much awaited love track between Sarun, rather than constant cold and desolate winter !

hi payasa my dear sis see thats what my mean to that how long can romance sustain. Human need change n so viewers romance needed but any thing too long it charm ll end n people get bored n fed up . So story with all emotional drama love hate sad happy comedy separation MU togetherness all r necessary to maintain life balance n to maintain balance in show.

What IP desperately needs is not romance between the leads but a Ideal family mix with ARHI romance at the center of it ...This way They provide the sweetener to the whole diaspora ...If they focus solely on romance, Young girls will congregate but on the YT [ They feeling bashful to watch it with Parents in the room ] n the matrons who love dramas will just flip the channel since they would not be interested in Akhon hi akhon main ishara hogaya ...kind of sequence ...

A strong family situation happening in the background and Arhi romance in the foreground would be the pick ...

What a scene --

*Khushi & ASR love each other and know the truth about each other, show "mu" hatred infront of the world but secretly meet each other to carry on romance
* ASR supports Anjali, who doesn't want khushi around
* shyam thinks Arshi are separated
* Arshi work together to expose shyam
* Payash and NK will try to bring Arshi together , creating some hilarious situations
* Since Arshi are separated physically so there will some missing you type of sad scenes and romance in between ( secretly) without having over dose of anything.
