Guys,

As I have posted before, I am a recent follower of ASR & team.. my mom got me hooked to the story. I had free time, so I have been on a non-stop binge of old episodes of ISPKKND (highly recommened, late night no distractions, just intense drama).. plus of course I watch the new episode every day..

My observation is this:

The early episodes were good,

then with Khushi & Arnav heating up, the episodes became very intense..

culminating in the shaadi and its aftermath... it is still good..

but... somewhere along the way, I noticed that they moved away ensemble storyline and started with individual, isolated story line.. thus you have this feeling of abrubtness, a non-continuation...

What I am trying to get at is that the ratings are sinking because the CVs moved away from Ensemble drama format.. The daily soaps are pseudo-reality show.. a fictional family's day to day life happening in almost real-time parallel to our life..

Just like we have interactions in our life with our circle, so too the daily soaps characters.. they become our outer circle.. we know these characters & they become part of our daily life...

After the marriage.. the Payal & Akaash marriage - with Mamiji, then Bubli etc.. was in complete isolation to Arnav & Khushi's bubble of love-hate..

this again was tenously related to Arnav-Shyam-Anjali triangle..

Mamaji disappeared, Babuji was in/out..

Garima, Buaji relation to Arnav-Khushi during the stay in their house was completely disconnected to Payal..

Of course later on with kidnapping.. it became even worse.. now Anjali is missing, Payal & Akash - the less said the better.. and has no link to Mamiji, NK & Khushi detective work...

This feels & probably is shot separately & put together haphazardly...

It is not working... once Arnav is back.. they need to bring the entire cast together & present the storyline in an Ensemble format.. otherwise I feel even with Arnav back.. the TRPs will sink & the audience will shrink

I guess I am the only one who thinks this 😕... I guess everyone just wants Arnav back 😍.. but we won't get back the magic until the whole set of characters are present...

u r right...But I am expecting old magic again when this kidnapping track ends.

May be sudden change in the track du to the absence of main lead caused many ups n downs in the TRP of the show

Exactly! The initial episodes had perfect balances of everything. There weren't any forced moments between Arnav and Khushi...any encounter between them, even if it were brief, left a mark on the screens.

But somewhere along the lines there was a shift in balance and the story took a slight U turn from what was expected. That put aside, in the future plot now with Arnav's return, I'm hoping that the family ensemble drama will be back in action.

Like Barun said. It's not just Arnav who has to find out about Shyam, it's the whole family too.

I am praying for the original format after this kidnapping track.. I don't want to lose this drama, so soon after I discovered it...

Seriously if you have time... watch the episodes back to back, skipping over some unimportant stuff.. it is an amazing experience.

I actually agree...not sure why...but the recent episodes lack somethingt...the earlier ones were slick and more put together, had scenes with all the characters and there was something more fluid and tight about the plot...hope the CVs get back on track soon...

u are not wrong dear.. i miss those old episodes... what has happnd to our ipkknd... earlier payalia used to understand khushi.. all the actors were given imp... khushi is not at bothered abt her bapuji now???? does she even call buaji to ask abt his health...nor is payal interested in anythin except her love life..
mamaji suddenly disappeared.. why isnt mami worried.. or atleast say tat he is on some trip... but nothin...as if the character never excisted!!! there were no fillers in ipkknd... everyone had somethin to contribute to the story.. now i get irritated when i see fillers...
hope after arnav comes back... everythin wil be fine... they need to buck up big time... we are so patient with this show bec we love it...

wht u said is true...they r making scenes with each story having no connection...suddenly some characters gone some new entries...payal akash story...i think the CV's dont know how to move their story forward except for some screen space...so silly stories r given to them...i mean b4 it was bubbly...then payal not comfortable in party...i mean didnt she go to party b4...rem when khushi was dancing with nk...she felt bored in that party...but she didnt feel inferior that time...and now suddenly payal wants akaash attention as she feels inferior to him...ok he is busy as arnav not there...but still payal is doing all weird things...to get hubby attention...their;s was a love marriage right...uff...

i think the CV's should show payal having some interest in doing some work...and she going and doing it...like khushi she is doing dabba business...like payal also should b shown doing some work...atleast her character will have some progress rather than feeling akash not giving her attention...after seeing shyam giving attention to khushi...payal should have been shown talking to khushi about it...i mean when did they show payal khushi interaction...when payal was worried about bubbly...

I am glad, I am not the only one with this viewpoint..

The only thing that came close to pre-marriage track is the time of Khushi fakes the ankle sprain.. the way Payal reacted & made sure Shyam didn't touch Khushi.

These 2 girls have been through thick & thin together, always supporting each other.. so after seeing the bond in previous episodes made the absence of that bond in Raizada household very glaring.

Also, another glaring absence is Akash is Lakshman to Arnav's Ram.. what happened after the kidnapping.. the complete absence of Akash's emotion..

Please CVs don't mess up this show... we want the whole cast back.. esp. for the track that Anjali is supposed to go through... the whole family...
