A nurse tried to shush him but arnav singh raizada went on roaring unmindful of the 'silence please' policy of hospitals until some attendants hurried to bring a stretcher and a doctor was explained somewhat incoherently in his broken croaky voice that his wife has to be made better. the attendants had a hard time trying to detach khushi from his hold. An unconscious khushi was settled onto the stretcher and, and they were taking her away...away from him but he is her husband---- he wont, cant let go of the stretcher with his khushi on it... why doesn't she open her eyes so he can tell her that she's gonna be fine... , until nk gently said, "nannav, let them take khushiji to the ER".
"Mr. Raizada", faltered forth the doctor, recognising the immaculate business magnate of delhi under all that grime and blood and wild eyes, whose family had often come here before for treatments," your wife only has a flesh wound it is not that serious, but she has lost a lot of blood, you need to make arrangements for some blood immediately. do you know her blood group?"
"No,no---"
"alright we'll just let you know immediately" so saying the doctor hurried off.
A nurse came in minutes later with the report that khushi had o-ve blood group.
"thats not a problem, i can give her blood i have the same blood type" arnav had by now pulled himself together somewhat, trying very hard to get back to his ASR mode and do what needs to be done.
"Please come with me then"
Arnav stepped into the ER, seeing the doctors hovering around khushi on the bed. He kept his eyes on her noticing how pale she was.at least they had stopped the bleeding. he barely noticed as the nurse ran some basic tests required to judge whether the donor is compatible and able to donate or not.
"mr.raizada?"
"MR. RAIZADA?"
"Yes what? Why don't you start giving her blood dammit! I can donate, take as much as she needs from me...
"i'm sorry, but you have diabetic condition , you cannot donate blood. Your bleeding wont stop easily nor is it good for the patient. Please contact our hospital blood bank, they usually store a lot of the universal donor blood, shouldn't be a problem"A few hurried calls, a use of the influence of his name soon got khushi the required amount of blood.
Arnav had to wait while inside they worked on his khushi. the image of khushi taking care of him when he fell ill flashing across his mind; does she despise me so much for hurting her that she cant even accept blood from me? Yes he thought wryly, i cant even give her blood, after all what have i ever given her apart from some bitterness, insults, disbelief, trouble, grief and misery?Comment if you like it guys , i'll continue if you do.
