I'm in the bio field and I know it is possible.
The parents would be AO+/- and BO+/-.
So Anjali seems to have inherited the A allele of one parent and B allele of the other while Arnav has inherited the O allele from both the parents.
Again regarding the positive-negative (Rhesus D factor)... Anjali inherited one positive from one parent and from the other parent, either a positive or negative (+/- or +/+ to be Rhesus positive). Arnav inherited the negative from both parents (-/- to be Rhesus negative).

i am a bio student and i feel its possible.. dont know whether u ll undertand but since anjali is AB one of her parent will be A and the other B. But since arnav is O, their parents are not homozygous ( pure) for that blood group..

this is how it works I^o I*a x I^o I^b can give I^o I^o ( blood group O) and I^a I^b( blood group AB)

the RHfactor ( -ve or +ve) has nothing to do with it

Exactly. I think Mann in Geet also had O- blood grp
