See my point is that his bravery comes with situations. Unless he is sure that he is safe he will never take out the bravery act. Remember how his personality cowers in front of rani sahiba where he is subdued?.

Confronting ASR, You missed a biggest point. He started answering back once ASR said, he know about Shyam-khushi affair. Shyam took that point and built on it. Till then he was the 'coward' one. Remember his monologue at that time. The moment he got the breather he know how to strike back at ASR. As tant says...he is a hyena and ASR is a lion. The difference in attitude was always there.

As of now shyam is not deluded(may be), but pre arhi marriage he was. That was the prelude of Anjali murder track and terrace hug. I have no idea at what point the delution went away.

If shyam twitch his nose on screen...CVs twist his character onscreen

Right ... but come out it did ( bravery) .. .. thats what he did yesterday as well .. he dint put the lights on & face Arnav ... his swagger was once ASR left the premise ... he is brave but not stupid to confront his doom ... The fact that he took advantage of ASR's delusions shows him as an opportunist ... but he is still brave na ... he did threaten ASR's sister in front of his face ...

Definitely there will be a difference in attitude ... one is villain & one is hero ... a hero is always on the right hence he will confront from the front ... But a villain has to be cunning ... so he will always take the easiest route .. & attack from the back ...& attack on only vulnerable points ...

ofcourse he was (deluded) .. he did think Khushi was in love with him ... hence he was willing to take on an ASR on face ... hence he wanted to get Anjali out of the way ... but now his delusion is gone ... & since then he has tried to pacify ASR on his face ... he tried proving to ASR that he was repenting ... because he is not sure of both Arnav & Khushi's feelings for each other ...

Hey as much as i love IPK i also love Harry potter. I was just thinking in my mind how the present situation match with the characters of HP.

Now Shyam is Voldemort or You Know Who who wants the downfall of ASR as he considers him as his equal and want to get back all what he think is his. He meaning Voldemort/Shyam considers ASR as the chosen one to defeat him and he knows that ASR has the power, status,money and Khushi which will be his when he defeats him. So now he has taken the Elder Wand (WILL) in his hand so that having that he will conquer everything but he does not know the flaw in the plan

I was equating somehow thinking Harry with Arnav and Khushi with Dumbledore... Not in the exact sense..
