Why no pyaar ji?

Aaj-kal na main dar-dar bhatak rahi hoon. You know why? Because I feel jilted, cheated, made ullu by Ektaa Kapoorji. For about a year, since Bade Achche Lagte Hain (Sony) started, I was totally committed to that couple ' Ram and Priya. Kitni sweet, mature, real si love story thi. Ek rich and lonely businessman obsessed with his sauteli family, and one sensible, sensitive middle-class girl who was nicely empowered. Shaadi se pehle, both were their own low priorities, but they found partners for whom they were very high on the priority list.
But vishwast sootron se pata laga hai that while last year the show's TRPs were making Ektaaji very happy, ratings mein giravat ki vajah se she is now very angry. And that is why the serial is getting a weird and annoying filmy twist. Priya has been sent to jail and the couple will now get fully bichroed. There were some hints about how they will eventually meet ' via an annoying golu-molu girl Priya ' but I think there may be another twist.
But whatever happens, I have learnt a big lesson: Never ever make an emotional investment in anything made by Ektaaji. Because, jahanpana, yeh sab rangmanch ki katputliya hain, jiski dor Ektaaji ke haath mein hai. Kaun, kab, kaise uthega, koi nahin janta. Ha ha ha.
So, apna mood theek karne ke liye I went to Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? (Star Plus), whose promos were promising a hot-hot suhaag raat. Hai, but yahan bhi, dhoka, dhoka, dhoka.
Arnav had been kidnapped and Khushi went to rescue him. But when kidnapper goonda with bad-bad intentions took slow, meaningful steps towards Khushi, Arnav grit his teeth and, by the "Power of Grayskull", broke a flimsy mesh and flew in to save Khushi's izzat and aabru.
Then they both ran away from the goondas, holding hands. Khushi and Arnav, who were earlier very alag-alag, were now finding excuses to lipto to each other. So they were very excited when they found a small abandoned house full of hay to hide in.
Khushi, miraculously, discovered nice clothes to change into, but poor Arnav had to shed his shirt and wait around in his vest.
Andheri raat. Khushi's naughty, knotted blouse. A cool breeze. Hay stacks. What do you think prem ki aag mein jalte hue lovers do in such a situation? They go horizontal. And that's exactly what Khushi and Arnav did. But just as they were getting all excited and ready, the interruptus, I mean, goondas arrived.
Hot and horny couple ki suhaag raat is still pending, and I am waiting.
