The episode maintained continuity and that should be maintained. For the CV's sake. The episode was highly intense and captivating. I almost bit my nail off of my finger (no joke).
The Episode:
They are still high on being in each other's presence. Creepy Kidnapper (CK) comes in and he tries to assault Khushi and unsurprisingly and predictably Arnav blows up and beats the c*** out of him. He is brought to consciousness by Khushi and they hug. Soon they break apart and run for it.
They run and play hide-and-seek with the bags of mouldy meat and eventually come to the dilapidated hut and in the precap we are shown that Arnav and Khushi have been surrounded.
My Analysis:
I mentioned about the destruction of the Arnav rekha by its creator in yesterday's redux and today we saw its procedure. When Khushi was facing CK and was in danger, ASR, not Arnav, was the one who wrenched it out of the way with a war-cry that would make the Hulk proud. He wrenched it apart and leapt through the small opening. He came, he conquered. But he stopped when Khushi's voice broke through.
Contrast and Similarity. In Nainital, the same had happened. He was restrained, Khushi was in danger. His fury was unleashed and he pummelled the piece of s*** into oblivion. He only stopped when Khushi got through to him.
However. This time, he did not withdraw afterwards. He did not retreat back into his shell and hide. His concern was her and he asks of she is alright. His eyes fill with worry as she replies in the negative. She hurls herself into him and he lifts her off her feet.
Rabba ve... Rabba ve... Rabba ve Rabba ve... Kyu dard hain itna... Tere hi ishq mein.
He lifted her off of her feet and she held onto his neck. The Arnav rekha has well and truly been vanquished.
Memories twirl around them. Interestingly, all of them are from before their marriage, both today and yesterday. Before the whole Shyam fiasco. To me, it shows that they've moved passed it. They've both put it behind them. They don't care about what's happened, when, why or how. As long as they're together, the s*** can hit the fan.
They run away together and hide together. They run again. He is pierced from the back. He tries to hide it. He will find out the entire truth and will will hurt, deliberately or otherwise. Khushi will notice, but will hide it. Then she will protect him from further harm, at the cost of her safety. Arnav will try to stop her, but she won't give in.
"Aap kko choot lag jaigi...
Mein nahi chahta ki meri vagehse tume koi chot lage...
Accha? Toh aap kya kar rahe thee? Hame bachane ke liye khudko choot deh rahe thee."
Very self-explanatory in my opinion... They are again ambushed by memories. Finally, finally they realise why they'd acted the way they did in the past. Love and love alone... Now and forever...
They run and enter a hut which magically appeared out of thin air... ☢️

Another contrast. One couple would move heaven and hell for each other. One glimpse is all they want, all they need. No matter what is going on between them, they are each other's top priority. They willingly bleed for each other, in every way possible, be it physically or emotionally, so that no harm would befall them. They have fights, but they have substance. They don't take each other for granted and are aware of their values in their lives. Astounding considering how much has gone on between them.
The other couple. Superficial. That is the only word that comes to my mind. Akash is wading in shallow, murky waters and soon Payal will drown. They do not understand each other and somehow I think they do not want to. They are more than happy to live on the surface. Payal is proving herself to be a typical trophy wife and this isn't sitting well with me. Period. Where is the silent, albeit strong-willed girl that stood up to ASR for her sister, supported her sister, rejected Akash straight on. Where is that girl I had grown to love? In contrast I like Manorama better. To be fair I always loved Mami, but then she had substance.
"What shall I wear... You'll look good in whatever." Whatever my a**! Wear your dignity you stupid girl! Wear your pride and self-respect! Just because he is your husband doesn't mean that you'll let him walk all over you! And Akash!
I don't have words for either couple. But for one its out of awe. For the other its out of disgust!

Issues I Had:
Akash is scaring me. I feel his increasingly blatantly disregard of Payal is scary and worth being cautious of. It's not at all normal and is genuinely giving me chills.
A clarification on my part. I am looking forward to their consummation. I really am but WHY ON TOP OF A FREAKING HAYSTACK!!!!???? why, Why, WHy, WHY!!! Be really glad CVs, be really glad! If it wasn't for Arnav and Khushi's chemistry, I would have sued! I already made two small posts on it on IF. I hope they don't and at the same time I want them to. You CVs are really lucky to have made me feel conflicted about it...
