Your title is a question that resonated across the globe in all IPK fans' minds after the episode. The reason IPK caught me attention was the unique chemistry between the leads...the soap was already on for 4 months...I caught one random scene and I had to, had to find out about these two.Thus began my journey into their love story...yes to me it's a love story as hatred has been a 'cover' for the core of love that these two share. They share something where words become secondary; a connection of soul.

A Hug. The Hug. We've being waiting for Khushi and Arnav's 1st full hug (Hospital hug was one sided) for ever. We knew when it happened, it would be epic. Arnav's "tum theek ho", Khushi's nodding and the run, the small feet adjustment Arnav had to do to take in the impact of the force of the bear hug that followed, his arms engulfing his wife, Khushi's happy tears, his smile and the relief and peace that reflected in both their faces...every single bit of it was as perfect as it gets! I agree with you Priya...the FB's were not needed to reflect their state of mind; it was on their faces,in their body language. After the last episodes use of body doubles and the SBB spoiler footage I was dreading a BD hug. So when the camera circled and showed both of them in the same frame...I knew this would be perfect. I always feel Sanaya brings out the best in Barun's emotional acting. What was lacking a bit on his side on the last episode was probably because of the BD's presence.

I knew these two are unique about everything in their mutual feeling. Still the second hug in the midst of being chased by their captors caught me by surprise. And this one was crackling in physical awareness that we've seen from the day Khushi landed up in Arnav's arms which sort of went amiss post marriage. It was just mind-blowing for me. Excellent use of camera in this scene!...the eye-lock, momentary touching of their nose, the way they were clinging on to each other as if nothing else mattered...this scene induced a lot of hyperventilation and endorphin rush worldwide. ☺️

I agree with you Priya about the thorn poking scene. I think this is a side effect of separate shooting with BD...even the scene of Arnav scolding her for poking herself with thorn to protect his head and yet he kept on holding the hand to the thorn!!! that was a big blooper scene. the dialog and the FBs made sense but not the scene itself.

And what was with the disjointed shots in the chase? One shot they are on road, next in the jungle, then back to road...using the same shot over and over again...it was pretty lame!😆

But as I always say, if there are scenes like those hugs, everything else becomes trivial. So this will be categorized in the same group of IPK epic episodes as the Diwali almost kiss, Teri Meri Dance in my mind.

Come Monday...I look forward to the almost consummation (going by 'spoil'ers😡)..I hope it is as romantic as we anticipate and the interruption is the ending sequence on Monday...and while Barun goes to the kidnapper aka Mr Right PH till 22nd June..we'll hope there are enough bank scenes to help us survive his absence.
