Nani was never bad to Mami... She knows how good she is and her worth. She only dislikes people being unfair, especially when it comes to poor people. The way Mami insults Khushi-Payal about being poor-girl-marrying-rich-guy and concluding that they are girls-marrying-for-money kind, it is unfair coz she too married above her status. And Nani only reminds her of that.
Maybe in the beginning of Mama-Mami's marriage she disliked her. I suppose her attitude toward mami must have changed when she (mami) gave away all her jewellery to Arnav to start his company.
But (atleast now) she knows what she has in Manorama. And that is a downright silly Bahu with her heart in the right place who will do anything for the family and children.
