But that's just a very personal opinion :) I think thet both deserve to love and be loved. But I admit a self distructive ASR and a easily forgiving Khushi who can't see him in pain will make one helluv track. The only thing I don't want to see is OOt behaviour from both. Apart from that I'm actually fine with anything :)

Agree completely with the Point in bold. No OTT for me too.

Agree with you 100%. Just add another thing to the list ... He should realize how wrong he was when he declared it is difficult to leave the riches n comfort of being Mrs Raizada. He should also realize how wrong his statement was because-
1) Khushi never stayed for riches
2) Even after their marriage, she never exploited him, earned herself and he never bought her anything too. I really didn't understand what riches n comfort he was referring to!

Well said Rima.. the points talk for themselves... 😊

Redemption track for me is a MUST but not Separation.. it can go hand in hand... He definitely has a long list of things he needs to say sorry for... most of the all the Diwali Kiss & after tht, Character comment, bringing her parents to the fight & Throwing her STARs... (many hv stated this already)... it can with FB & saying sorry for all things he did is more than enough as tht is the BIG thing for ASR character - Shedding his EGO by saying SORRY...

I personally feel the redemption shd be something like - Khushi forgives him (ofcourse which we all knw) & with every small thing she does for him/his family/ his Di he remembers the hurt he has given her & repents... & then Khushi will heal him to get out of tht will be ultimate to watch...

Even though Khushi doesn't expect but loves is - Arnav to woo her... treat her like princess.. wld like to see this.. making her happy by small gestures & doing things which Khushi likes but Arnav so detests...
😉

ULTIMATE being the DREAM WEDDING she has envisioned & DESERVE.

whew! you just defined my dream redemption too.I want the same. He realizes everyday when she does something for his family and she helps him heal and then romance and yes we defenitely want the queen bee treatment and yes the massive wedding. CVs better do it in style

Agree from my side as well.. 😊

although wht i wanted to say is tht... accepting & moving ahead will be easy for Khushi to do but not for Arnav... he has to repent - knwing all this Khushi can still move on (forgive yes forget i dnt knw) but Arnav I dnt think so - HIS nature...

Here is my take -- last night we came up to episode 90 in our second viewing of the show -- I realized that I was way too stressed out to pay attention to the "character development" etc etc when I was watching it the first time (even though I assumed I was already doing it right). The second time I am watching it, I am seeing more things. I think the "REDEMPTION" stuff is absolutely REQUIRED.

1. Aukaad Stuff -- may be I am looking at it as a man -- when someone repeatedly does that crap and you cant give it back because of your constraints, it is HELL -- Khushi acted like "the man of the family" to take crap but not let go of the opportunity to make some money for her lower middle class family.

2. The number of times he made her CRY till episode 80 was down-right CRUEL -- the writers were showing cruelty may be for effect but it was cruelty more than his anger.

3. I realized that the writers were setting things up to show that may be his "parents" died because his father had an affair of sorts with a economically poor woman and it came out around the time of his sister's first wedding. THe wedding got ruined (they mention Anjali's baraat returning several times) and he lost his mom. If you notice when he talks about his parents, he spends more time talking about his MOM leaving him more than his father. They may be thinking this stuff may justify what he did to Khushi but it does not. Also, I think Shyam may be shown as the guy responsible for Anjali's let injury and then playing the role of the "savior" because when they show the early videos of Di and CHote, they are both fine -- unless POLIO hits girls in their "teens" this is something that was caused after her first marriage got ruined -- they are planning on using that sometime -- but it is already getting late with this crap for 2 months killing interest.

4. THe redemption track should be more him "EXPLAINING" himself and lack of malice in his attacks and just his "stupid anger" -- which is a long shot already.

5. Then there is this assumption crap after falling in LOVE -- this is the fundamental goof-up. See if the guy was in love, this "distrust" is completely stupid -- he doesnt understand the meaning of love. If you are in love with someone, the first thing that comes is "trust and belief" in their character -- otherwise it is infatuation. The chick is pretty but to show that he is cringing at the very thought of her crying and then saying "I dont believe you when you say that you werent sleeping with Shyam before" -- it is nonsensical really.

6. The second viewing gave me the distinct feeling that after around the time he starts seeing her constantly -- that is when she shows up for the Anjali Salgira party and hides in his closet, he was blaming her for not accepting the truth that "she is in love with him" and was attacking her constantly to break her down. I dont know if they were showing that he is stupid enough to intimidate his way into the heart of the woman he is in love with but that is the distinct feeling I got especially when he brings Lavanya back because she yells at him about the "LOVE" thing.

So, In a way the Redemption I think is more of a complete explanation so they get in sync. They already laid foundation to that stuff by showing ASR forgiving Hari Prakash for spilling coffee on him the day after the Shrardh. See this is where some consistency in his character is needed -- they can get away with anything with Khushi -- she is a wild card and set up perfectly for day-to-day stuff -- but when it comes to ASR character -- they can do better in making it more consistent -- for now is looks like a nasracistic mental guy who is begining to realize that he is in love with this girl and still doesnt understand LOVE. He shows strong emotions when under the influence on Bhang but cannot come out and discuss things with his LOVE!!! Strange but really a MENTAL character than a stubborn angry young man that they want to show.

This is my take after second viewing of the first 90 episodes. Sometimes I am asking myself these days "am I working for these guys?? why the heck am I analyzing this sh*t (excuse my french) to the extent I am!!!" THey are not real people for god's sake -- a difficult thing to swallow -- for me they are becoming real living people -- Fantastic job by the directors and creative team for accomplishing that.

Cheers..

Applause. I completely missed your comment till you pointed it out. Weekend you see. Cooking and cleaning and other stuff to do in between.
But what points.
Superb.
You should be paid for anallyzing this so well.
ASR has often tried to bully Khushi into admitting her love. But with that girl nothing works. No wonder he is stumped. She is a girl who is as tough as him beneath her delicate bone china looks.
His aukaad and other dialogues and dropping her in the middle of the road are some of the things I hate the most. I want regaret for that also.
And yes he was downright cruel to her. Absolutely cruel. It was Khushi who forgave him. But has she ever healed? His sorry is needed to heal her.
Again awesome! I wish you would make posts and just stay stuff. But making posts can take a lot of your time. Plan and do make posts

I honestly believe that they set things up very well (even now). This will be my stress buster because of one simple reason -- the extent to which I believe in what they preach (the Indian stuff -- the culture -- the purity of heart being the most attractive feature of any human being etc etc) -- They have figured out preaching without actually doing the preaching.

I hear they read this stuff -- hopefully they will understand what is keeping them on top -- Khushi and her absolute purity which makes ASR and his love for her so HOT. They should exploit the fast talking Khushi, her comic talent while moving the story forward. Barun does an excellent job of professionalism. This may actually sound bad (being a guy that loves his country of origin(India)) but I think there is an element of professional writing with a worldview on this team -- there are people what may be learned writing here in the US.

I know sunday chores, I decided to make some samosas for breakfast -- they worked well actually.

It is not that I cook every sunday but sometimes when I am home I like dabbling a bit -- I love samosas (who doesnt) and I tried something different today and it worked great!

Samosas! Now I am tempted to eat and defenitely not to make it! After heavy duty sunday lunch cooking I am not ready to try anything! Well good for you that you dabble in cooking. I love love cooking and feeding people. Every weekend I have two guests over to cook for! Cooking is therapatic
Yes excellent writing by the CVs and excellent acting from Barun. Sanaya too portrays the innocence of Khushi to the hilt. That's the reason this show works like no other for me. If they do read our stuff hope they sift the good from the bad and take away some good pointers
