Nopes - I dont go by the promo - I go by the episode. After Anjali's accident - Arnav had decided he would go and tell Khushi about his feelings for her. ILU is just 3 words - confession of feelings is more important and that is the reason he followed her to the terrace that day to confess his feelings to her. That day he had realized he loved her - and that was quite evident. You wanna go by the promo - go ahead.
Don't you think if thats the reason ASR confessed ... then he should've told her i forgive you ... or i believe in you ... from audience pov both these would be as impactful as nerve racking as the ILU ... he left her with things unresolved .. .. he saw how desperate she was to clear her name ... belief in her is what she wants not ILU ... & for the life of me how can an ILU by ASR lead her to believe he is kidnapped is just force fed ... you are linking two completely disjointed things ...
I am sorry but why is ILU being such a pain!? 😕 An ILU was the biggest hint because Khushi knew the way things were left. Did you watch the episode?! Her understanding of the ILU and then her going back to the pain he has given!? And no nothing could have led her to believe that he is kidnapped. For me I am sorry or I forgive you could have been meant anything. If you looked at the ILU clearly - it was a confession of a man who was not sure of his future. He fought yes - but he also was unsure. He held on to the phone with his eyes closed - taking in what he had said before the phone was taken from him. I see it as a man's last confession.And there was nothing ASrish about it. It was Arnav in it - the Arnav who was always in love with khushi. Just because it did not make sense to you does not mean it was illogical.
This is not a repeat of diwali ..where he makes a pass at a girl & then dumps her cruelly .. will you as the audience accept if he goes back on his ILU ???
Man! trust me I would love it if he goes back on it! Why compare two sequences of one show!? If he goes back on his words that he was giving her a hint - I would LOVE it! You know why!? That would increase his repentance and more so the actual confession will be worth it and that will be magical.
I am an eternal optimist ... i am not saying i am not happy with the current track ... i am just questioning on what was promised by GUl to us ( search her interview in rangmunch just post ARHI wedding)... cannot be delivered without twisting the logic to fit...
For me execution is much more important .. as time & time again i have felt that writing is good but Mr. Khan has not understood the script given to him ... As script has to be tweaked as per the demands of time, actors, ph, channel , ratings ... but execution of the given word should not be hampered by anything ...
Trust me - I have been the one who has been pissed with Gul the most! I know the interview you are talking about - I have ranted about it on REDUX here. Because Khushi's OTT was what pissed me off the max since her interview mentioned that khushi was to lose everything - but however the sypaties shifted to Arnav.
You may think that something is illogical that does not make it illogical! I and most of us found ILU logical - and I will keep my hopes up for the future as well.
