After Arnav says "I love you", he holds the phone for a few seconds expecting some response and then cuts the phone. Why do you think he disconnected the phone? Is it because he didn't see it getting reciprocated or was it because he knows deep down how much he has hurt her that he can't take her hurt anymore. I feel it is the latter but wasn't 100% sure.
