Agree with u on that but wonder what happens with star plus HD. HD channels have no advertisements .. so someone like me who watches IPk on star plus HD does not count?
As far as Trps go Star plus has other shows whose Trps are alot worse than IPK.eg. Pratigya, Sajda, Ek doosre se so would star plus look at those first before considering anything about axing a show like IPK.
I'm just asking the questions that have been going on in my head since this morning.
IPK is still second in its slot only to Balika Vadhu. Where as Pratigya comes after Punar Vivah and Bade Acche lagte hain all three air at the same time.
Lastly the last 3 shows launched by star plus have done nothing for the channel on the contrary have probably pulled it down. Ruk Jaana nahin, Ek doosre se and Sajda all 3 have failed to make their mark. So would Star plus consider axing a show like IPK which is just hitting a low phase and is still in the top 15 shows of the country to launch something that may garner them even lower trps.. I would think they would consider axing a show like Pratigya which seems to have reached a saturation point coz its been on air for many years. IPK still has alot of potential in terms of tracks... Arnav Khushi love story is just going to start, Shyam is yet to be exposed to the family, Anjali has to find out the truth about him, Arnav and Anjali's painful past has not been revealed.

I agree... its the TRPs that ultimately generate money and so TRPs matter a lot. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter to the channel that there are a lot of people watching on internet because internet viewership doesn't generate revenues for them... what matters to them is the TRP viewership...
