I do not typically do new posts nor do I expect any responses but for those who will read/view please know that I applaud the members who post in English but for whom English is not their primary language.
Many claim to be fans of Barun and miss him from IPKKND and his message was for them! But did everyone really understand what was being said? He did not say that Arnav could be replaced he said that any actor can play Arnav and that is correct!
If taken into context of the whole interview he was simplying saying that he understood that his fans missed him as Arnav and he will be back! But if it is him, Barun that you miss, then guess what, there is now more of him to go around! A movie and still IPKKND!
I would think that this was clear but based on some of the posts that I am seeing I think that some of you are just taking it out of context!
Give the man credit for taking the time to respond and reassure us and not make him regret that he did the interview!
I am just glad that his message was in English and without him having said the words, I also clearly understood that he recognized that his audience is at an international level and also respected that his countrymen would also get the message given that most Indians do speak English!
So in conclusion, this proves that you are damned if you do and damned if you do not! Meaning that if taken out of context anything can be distorted and good intentions can look otherwise!! Thank you Barun for taking the time from your very busy day to once again reassure us that you will be doing double duty on both sets! I do not know how many ways you can say this but kudos for trying yet again!
