im ready to get bashed for saying this.

first of all people plzzz stop mailing Madmidass.pretty plz.their one and only priority will b their movie not IPK.the video we got is as a result of all those mails and their FB wall being clogged up due to IPK fan frenzy.so they r clearly taking advantage of him and the fanbase.

plz enjoy the show and stop this craziness.jst rmmbr Barun needs d show as much as the show and fans need him.

From what I have observed he is media shy and not a very great communicator in front of media. It was evident in SPA too when he was teased bySajjan Singh and other moments.

So just don't read too much between the lines and just take him at face value.

And just enjoy Batun playing ASR which is a once in a lifetime role for him too.

I think one needs to see the interview in its entirety to catch the meaning! If you just pick one sentence or part of a sentence then it will give a different meaning. Barun has got a good role ina a movie for which he had to take a break from the show! Its gonna be good for his career! He will be back once its done this is what he says!

I think people need to stop over analyzing this and watch the show which is going on a gr8 track! Hats off to Sanaya she is standing tall holding the show on her slim shoulders 😉

Totally agree with you Rima regarding Mr Sobti dealing with media. Major success has come to him very suddenly with IPKKND and he is only starting to get used to dealing with media. He is unfortunately just learning the hard way and I'm sure he will began to handle things very suavely pretty soon.

Rightly said...that is his personal trait...we love him as an actor...but not becoz of his personal traits...he may be media shy...that doesn't matter...as we luv his acting I front of the camera...as Arnav, so chill out

Oh. Okay. So its about THAT madmidaas interview of his?

Gosh. I am surprised how people managed to overlook the fact that he was absolutely ADORABLE in that interview and just jumped at his words.

What he said, is true. I mean, Arnav is just a character, anyone can play it...but we love ASR MORE because of Barun, because he is the one who has brought him to life.

Plus, he didn't even SAY that he was leaving. Its just his opinion that we might love this project of his more than the show, but I felt like he was desperate to pacify his upset fans and hence said it.

You know how friends try pacifying you when you are upset about something..they say everything good, try showing the positive side (even if nothing seems positive to us... he tried to show the positive side, stating we would love his recent project more)

I felt the same! Gosh. People are so- 'What the-?!'

Seriously. I am laughing right now! Laughing at the sheer stupidity with which people turn around the words of a person!

What he said- "I have left my home and joined this industry just to be seen" Seriously. That's what I thought too! Obviously he would be back.

He KEPT repeating that..and even Sanaya has now confirmed it.

I don't know what more people want!

He desperately needs PR skills.

He is a fun loving guy but then again, giving crisp media interviews is an art he will need to master and master it soon.

The only thing I did not like in his interview - without any further analysis and interpretation is the suggestion from him that anyone can play the character of ASR and be liked equally well.

No! Mr. Sobti you don't even remotely attempt to pacify your fans with such words. Now, you've stirred the pot again.

Your fans fell in love with your enactment of ASR. Embrace it and appreciate those fan feelings.

agree to the post.
but we cant deny the fact that a large portion of his fan is for ASR of IPK( including me) There are few who love Barin Sobti- the actor.but most of his fans love Borun Sobti who plays ASR. so as of now, his popularity depends on how he plays ASR, his dedication to the show, his chemistry wid Sanaya. BUT once his movie releases, then it will be decided if he can win our hearts without the dashing ASR effect. so for now, we have to deal wid this criticism which comes from the craziness of his fans for him.

BS is a great actor, but dometimes luck is also needed to get success along with talent. he had luck with him in Telly, hope it will accompany him in his BW journey too. fingers crossed.
till then he better please his current fanbase. Im saying it because I feel really bad when people get mad at him. Even Im also a bit disappointed wid his new intetview for fans( and the recent BBC int). He sounded a bit diplomatic. not clearing all doubts boldly. I expected a bit more boldness from him about the show.
