What is he doing ... my theory is this :

chahta to woh Khushi ko dekhna tha...

lekin dikha Snake...isliye itna dukhi aur distraught laging...

To be honest main bhi daant sunne ke baad kaap rahi thi... thoda sa... kyunki, maine at least toda bahut sahi meanings nikaale the from the episode due to your constant guidance and teachings... but, the daant was much needed, we just depend on you and not on our brain cells kabhi kabhi 😃

yes... even i am thinking on the same lines.. as he came to know the truth.. and now he is punishing himself... lekin ILU bolke Khushi ko bhi punishment de raha hai ... how does he think that she will all happy n content hearing ILU on phone !!!
