So I was the one who kept asking for Shyam, every post without fail was where is Shyam, why is he not in the show, what is he upto, what is he thinking.
Flash Forward to today... A bit too much of Shyam 😳.
Ok lets be clear, this is because I dislike the character oh so much but the fact is that he in all is antics is actually what is propelling the show forward.
So two parallel tracks move simultanouesly... I always liked the duality of situations in phrases.
the example that fits the current scenario is on 'Distance'.
Distance makes the fond heart fonder:
This highlights Khushi's feelings for Arnav. They say memory is the biggest liar of all. When not actually in the situation, your memory very conveniently edits all the harsh realities and highlights all the good. Khushi remembers Arnav forceably marrying her in the temple in the same breath she also remembers how he playfully challenges her to kiss him. And since he is not around to put a stamp of bitterness on her existence she is conveniently remembers the good times. Isn't Barun leaving for a movie shoot come at the right time? I love Khushi's understanding of just how much she cares about him. I love that she is thinking of instances in the past where she has had to take care of him. At that time, she wrote it off as concern for just another person but now she has a whole new pespective. Its amazing how well this journey of her is written, great job CV's, I think Arnav missing is exactly what you needed to make this happen for Khushi.
Now the otherside of the coin... OUT OF SIGHT IS OUT OF MIND. And so is Shyam Manohar Jha's thought process. Like they say when the cat is away the mice are at play. The biggest ( and very good looking) thorn in his side is one Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. Shyam is delusions, he thinks his cunning superseeds ASR, and Khushi is his and only his for the plucking. Today's boundary crossing was in a word VILE👏👏👏 well done CVs we are getting to know just how despicable this human being is and how undeserving he is of sweet, self sacrifising Anjali.
I always thought that when ASR married Khushi he protected her so much more than he protected Anjali, yes Anjali's life is not in danger anymore, but Khushi's is grotesquelly subject to the open lusting of this man who is suppossedly her brother-in-law.
What I would like to see before Arnav comes back:
1. Khushi realizing that no matter how fraile Anjali is, Shyam's truth must be revealed to her.
Why do I say this, well you are showing me that there is not one ounce of shame in this man, why then you think I want someone I love to be with him. I would do everything in my power to enlighten them about actual man hidden behind the mask. Khushi is a righteous person, you have shown that time and again, for example when she tries to explain to situation to Pritto's inlaws. So then why would she take it lying down when it comes to Anjali, she said herself I'll give him another chance. But he has proved himself unworthy of that chance.
Why is it important that you show her trying to do something more than through a stone at him or pepper his dal? Because you are threading on a topic that most women face especially in India, where men think all women are their God given right. So in the spirit of Satayameh Vijate show her trying to defend herself and righting her wrong of not telling Anjali. Khushi must atleast try to open Anjali's eyes.
Not only does Khushi's behaviour not fit in with her personality, look at what you are showing the world, that a women is so fraile that she cannot be told that her husband is a lying cheating son- do I need to continue???
Shyam knows that Khushi ( aka every women out there) will react the same why sweep the unsavory acts under the proverbial carpet and hence he is very confident that he has her where he wants her. Now I don't want you to go all preacher of women's lib on me but I sure as hell want him to think twice before invading her space. Can we hire the band of ladies in pink saris against domestic violence???? Ok extreme, how about pepper spray, simple and effective😉.
But yes kindly do somethiing about this issue, most of your audience are women and the ones who are really invested (ahemmm people on this thread for instance) are the liberated kind so please this damsel will get herself out of distress, then being resued by Arnav with Rabba Vey playing in the background will just make my day😊
2. I don't understand why Bubly is important to the track, though I am amazed that you kept me tuned in inspite off no Barun, this just seems off. Please explain a little more, and kindly do the same for Masala Mama
3. Where is Mamaji he is the best can we have more of him if we are not getting any Arnav. Please, I promise I'll refrain from writing mean posts.
4. And finally, Sanaya is carrying the show right now, with her simple brillance, and understated love. It's not fair that she has to wear glorified tents... I know you had budget issues. But remember how I gave you negotiating lessons yesterday. FOR the love of SIGHT use them and make the change!!!! That being said Sanaya you look good in a garbage bag ( doesn't mean you should wear one)
5. Nice bomb drop with the promo, I don't think I'll have a moment of peace till I know everything that is going to happen.
